Podcast by ra Bhoy in Corduroy

Recommended Posts

The Laird of Dunlop, the big cheese; well, he smells like a big over ripe cheese, Graham Spiers continues to push the most attractive podcast on the block. This week, it’s a call back for Rangers hater, Gordon Waddell, and an introduction to BBC Scotland staffer, Stefan Bienkowski. I am sure Graham is just giving the lad a reach around?

Stefan ran a Sellik on line ‘zine before entering the hallowed halls of PQ. He is the barking mad clown that penned a piece last November, demanding the postponement of the then, just announced General Election. Stefan’s mindset was his beloved Sellik were playing Cluj in Romania, their last Europa Cup group match in the middle of December. This coincided with the date of the election. Stefan argued at least 15,000 Yahoos would be out of the country watching  ra hoops. Seriously, the missing hordes would corrupt the election result?

Less than 700 Yahoos traveled, and the country survived the crisis. Stefan and Graham are made for each other, a rhapsody In corduroy.

Honestly, who on Earth would actually listen to a Spiers podcast? Like most people, I wouldn't have known it existed if it hadn't been announced here and I imagine the only people who would listen to him and his guests would be those looking to feed the sickness in their own heads.

Spiers is an unprincipled parasite looking for any handhold to maintain a living out of the Scottish fascination with tribal bigotry and deceit, whether real or (usually) imagined. Thankfully, he's largely invisible to me. I'd prefer it if he could be referred to in future by some suitably descriptive byname, rather than spreading his presence across the ether.

Just goes to show how far he’s fallen if this is what he’s now doing.

We know that the Honourable and Gallant Gentleman, 26th, plied an earlier trade operating behind enemy lines, gathering intelligence on mischief-makers and reporting to higher authority. Old habits die hard. Just a pity he can’t now ply another part of his trade, blowing uptaking out - er - neutralising the mischievous.

That would be like strangling the Milky Bar Kid.

Continuing in his sculptured ways to deliberately attract the “Ibrox hordes” to his Podcasts, dearest Graham has lined a one hour special with Hugh Keevins. The nasal whine will advance his quest for Tommy Burns to receive beatification, how he is here to talk football and not child rape, tell how many priests attended his daughter’s wedding, and why Valencia are the Aberdeen of Spanish football.

Maybe, just maybe, Graham will ask Hugh to explain his oft’ repeated late nineties/early naughties slur, “ Ibrox on a Champions League night is akin to a Nuremberg Rally”. It was those torch led parades that Adolf the smartie, leader of the Nazi party decided to release their, ‘Race Laws’. Yep, those Race Laws that saw several million Jews, masons, Boy Scouts, socialists, gypsies, Down’s syndrome, ........... etc pushed into gas chambers on an industrial scale.

I think we should run a sweep, name the next rancid auld bigot to appear on the Spiers Podcast? I’ii predict Matt McGlone.
