Think it is a pretty even game so far, they are a class team but we are carefully doing ok, a bit sloppy in the final 3rd but if we can raise our game a wee bit more in the 2nd half then we can get a result here

Nothing in it at half-time and the first 15mins apart, it's been "nip and tuck". Make no mistake, Gala are a good, solid and experienced team. 

 

Saying that, game is there for the winning if we are at our best.

We just look flat, they seem to have more urgency about them. And we need to improve that final pass in the second half.

Decent enough first half where on balance we could and probably should be one or two up. First 15 they couldn’t get out their half but as the game went on it became more even. Goldson doing what Goldson does, luckily they didn’t notch from his now regular mistake a match!I wouldna mind a look at the pictures he must have of Stevie G in what must be a seriously compromising position!

Well, Hagi and Arfield seem not to work too well, the latter is sure wanting to get forward, the former is not offering too much. A bit lucky with that challenge in/just outside the box. Would have been food & drink for some Scottish refs. Maybe we should introduce Jones soonish, they play rather open.

First 15mins was very good but after that we've looked a bit timid and very wasteful on the ball.  

 

Need to inject a bit of tempo into the game as Gala are far too comfortable at the moment.  Arfield has been negated as he's having to cover our right side from deep, Morelos not playing well at all and Kent is also giving the ball away too easily.

 

Positives is that we've done well defensively from several set-pieces situations but I have to admit I was happy to get in at half-time level.

 

Hopefully the manager gets in about them so we can find the kind of level we opened the game at.  At that point we were the dangerous team and looked really capable.  Game might open up a bit more as it goes on as well so the likes of Jones will be important.
