Surely someone will bring Brown's elbow to the attention of the authorities

Was it mentioned 367 times by Crocker? I think not. Perhaps once or twice. Yet, that naughty BBC chap who wrote this during the live text will soon get the appropriate letter:

GOAL! Kilmarnock 0-1 Celtic

Scott Brown

Poor defending from Kilmarnock allows Celtic to take the lead.

Alan Power fails to stay with Scott Brown at a David Turnbull corner and the Celtic captain heads into the corner.

A rare goal from the former Scotland midfielder comes moments after a more typical elbow in the face of Aaron Tshibola that wasn't spotted by the officials.

Tshibola got his due from Clancy soon after

YELLOW CARD Tshibola (Kilmarnock)

Kilmarnock 0-1 Celtic

Aaron Tshibola gets his own back on Scott Brown for that earlier elbow, but the Kilmarnock midfielder is not so lucky and goes into the referee's book for his foul.

Killie boss Fowler afterwards ...

Fowler questions two Celtic goals

FT: Kilmarnock 0-4 Celtic

Kilmarnock interim manager James Fowler tells BBC Scotland: "There were parts of the performance we can be happy with, but if you lose four goals, you have to be honest enough to say defensively we weren't good enough at times.

"Certainly, the second goal isn't a penalty. When you speak to the fourth official and he says the referee and assistant are having a discussion, I think that tells its own story. Usually they know these things instantly. And the third - it looks really tight in terms of offside."

Dunno, "slightly" is rather generous ...

And the "penalty" incident again ... wow, just wow.

Project: Secure Second Place has commenced, with, unsurprisingly, a disgraceful refereeing performance from Kevin Clancy.

Expect more of the same, across the board.

Kevin Clancy knows exactly what is at stake this season.

Yes, second place, and a tilt at the CL till.

Kevin Clancy always looks quietly terrified when he officiates a Dubai Dodgers match.

That offside decision is a shocker. There is over a yard between the striker and the defender

Last night's fixture at Rugby Park had a few instances requiring further examination.

Broony's flying elbow into the face of Tshibola's face, Sellik's penalty, and Edouard's second goal looks clearly offside.

During Sky's commentary, both Crocker and Walker dismissed Broony's transgression as nothing, Michael Stewart on Sportscene also agreed, "nothing there, ah mean look, Tshisbola has to lower his head to be hit". We await tomorrow's ruling on the incident, will there be consistency?

Remarkably, Crocker, Walker, and Stewart appear to be singing from the same hymn sheet these days. All agreed Sellik's penalty was of the softest variety, but still a penalty. Apparently, the Killie keeper was, "stupid". interestingly, another point of agreement was the Linesman flagged for the penalty. Now, if this was Rangers, the Linesman's name would have been broadcast on both Sky and BBC(Sportsound and Sportscene).

All agreed again on Edouard's goal being well offside. Again, the same Linesman failed to flag. Again, no name.

Do any Gersnetters know the names of last night's officials(other than Clancy)?

Strange. A Gersnet topic to discuss Celtic games. No thanks.

This is not the Rangers, but the General Football discussion board. Thus, we keep Gersnet clean. That aside, if it isn`t talked about, highlighted and remarked upon, they will go on and on with it. That said, it should be football players (and their union), managers and co. calling out the failings in above`s match and others.
