There are a few complaints about Itten starting over Sakala. 

 

I don't see Sakala as a striker; he's a wide-man. 

 

Roofe is still easing himself back. 

 

Moreover, considering the conditions, we need some physical lads in there, so Itten seems like the clear choice to me.

Truth be told, Itten is the physical presence up top needed for such games, able to receive and hold up a ball to feed the attackers "next" / behind him. I doubt he will roam as much as Morelos lately, or come that deep. Kent and Arfield sure provide the combative edge required, I would have expected Sakala going right though (he can play in any slot ip top), but Diallo is as much an unknown quantity to us than he is to the Stags. If it doesn`t click, you`d hope we use the 5 subs available quickly.

I'm a bit disappointed for Lowry, as he doesn't deserve to be dropped but that side looks good.  I want to see Aribo and Arfield helping the front three, with pace and precise passing.

I was thinking the same, but considering the conditions and the opponents, I think Arfield is the right option.
