We punched above our weight to be competitive in Europa League, being competitive in the CL looks way above and beyond us in afraid. That statement doesn't excuse an uninspired performance though, the least I expect from any Rangers team is 100% effort and commitment. If the manager can't get that from his players, it's clear his time is up. Historically we can point to very good Rangers teams struggling in the CL and looking out their depth and losing heavily home and away. In fact, apart from 1992-1993 and 2008 we've been constantly abysmal in Europe. The last 4 seasons bucked that trend but looks like all that good work has been undone.
