Strangely, of all our CL debacles this season, tonight was probably the one where our options were so limited that it's hard to blame the manager or the players he had available. Whatever you attribute it to, we just didn't have the ammunition required to compete in this gunfight.

But you should expect the team to at least compete , not stand off and admire the opposition .

I think so (unfortunately), unless there's a huge issue domestically.

I have no real idea what GvB's philosophy is - everything seems so slapdash. The only consistency seems to be in regular disappointments and humiliations.  Some passion and anger are needed occasionally, even in the very effeminate world of modern football and we show none of these, even when we're getting beat 7-1 at home.  What kind of man doesn't get angry about that!?

I'm sick of watching the current team.

The problem is who replaces GVB and how the board sell the position.

We may be an attractive proposition for a young and upcoming manager who wants to gamble that they can take us forward. Alternatively is a currently unemployed manager who would see us a stepping stone back into management.

The next "Gerrard-like" manager may well be out there, we just need to find him

How many times have Livi beaten us since we've been back in SPL?

Roughly, they've beaten us twice in the last 25 games, drawing five times.

All but five of our wins were by one goal.

Pretty good going for such a financial gulf.

Someone with a bit of pride would be good.

Gio was having a laugh with the 4th official when we were 2-0 down tonight.  God knows what he was smiling about.

So including this seasons CL group stages games, how would you rate our European performances since getting back into SPL given the financial gulf?

I'd say it's better than "pretty good"

Agreed, but who specifically.

Is it a Dyche? Is it someone in SPL? Is it the next SG? Is it someone from left field (Pedro!).

It's all fine say replace him, but who with?

This is Wilson's and the board's job, not the fans. He needs to be held to account.

A EL final, a Scottish Cup trophy and CL qualification in just over 12 months in charge. Hard act to follow? If his successor doesn't match this is he sacked after 12 months? Serious question that potential candidates will ask?

We need stability - if Gio isn't the person to take us forward then what expectations do you have for his successor and how long are they given to deliver?
