Thought the ref was okay today.  What did he get wrong?

He can't be blamed for awarding 2 offside goals.

IMO the 2nd yellow for Slattery was harsh but he did get away with a worse fouls before being sent off.

Van Veen should have been booked for a couple of rash tackles and persistent fouling (maybe even deserved a red).

Cantwell was fortunate not to get a yellow for a few fouls and leaving pitch when he scored. But said earlier, we've finally gotten a player who'll draw cards for thr opposition and he can play a bit!

I think Walsh is best referee in Scotland but thought he was terrible today.

Utterly criminal waste of chances by Kent, Tav, and Morelos.

We have them on their knees, go to "3 at the back" with Jack as DM, which is 100 % enough, but instead of Hagi or Wright, bring Kamara on. Who is playing in left attacking midfield 🤪 and does exactly what you expect of a DM, nothing. 🤮

Make no mistake, Hagi, Cantwell, Tillman, Raskin, and even Ridvan are all half if not a full level of the players we have, yet we always go down the trusted route with "veterans" who time and again show that they can play football at their level - which has become pretty stale. Oh, Tav pops up with one or two good crosses (and wastes 10 more), a penalty or even one in ten good free kicks. And Kent forces the odd free kick in front of goal. But in general, quite a few have gone past their sell-by date as they simply bring too little as opposed to the new guys. And for all the "banter" the UB has with Wilson, it was/is SG, Gio and now Beale who picks teams and players who should do much more, not least as they have shown over the years what their peak level can be. And to cap it off, Beale replaces the best performers rather than those who don't deliver.

We did what we needed to do, looked pretty bad at the back with the two goals. Beale walks on with another win and three points, yet, Rangers should always strife for the better. We've been toiling at that front mainly to managers picking not the best what they had on any given occasion.

NB: Man, that ref and VAR guy was bad ...

Kent was directly involved in 3 of our 4 goals.

Tav scored one and got another assist.

Morelos also had an assist in his short time on the pitch.

Thought Morelos did more in his brief cameo than Colak did in the time he was on, Colak was so far off it today.  And I say that as a fan of Colak.

Colak had an absolute nightmare. I would have taken him off at half time to be honest. Advocaat would have had him off after about 35 minutes :D

I was flabbergasted when I saw no changes at half time

To be fair we were much better in the 2nd half. Still need to be more clinical and make more correct decisions in the final 3rd.

Another game where we should be talking about a 7 or 8-2 victory.

At the Motherwell goal, Tav starts in the line of 4. When the ball is crossed Goldson and Davies have retreated to the six yard box to try to cover but Tav is still trotting ten yards behind them and nowhere to be seen when the goal is scored. This has become his defensive trademark and why we lose so many goals at the back post - we need fullbacks who have a morsel of defensive ability. Tav can be a decent player but is a defensive liability.

Would it be stating the obvious to add that TAV's defensive header at Motherwell's second goal was also third rate. That's both Motherwell scores where he should at the very least have done a lot more to defend our goal. I'm delighted he scores so many goals and can be a real asset in attack ... but he's a f*cking defender and if he can't defend then play him elsewhere in the side and get a real defender in his place.
