If our stadium was bigger than theirs, you'd be happy for them to get more tickets than we got from them? Or is it just a good argument when it suits us? 😂

I would as you are giving up a percentage of your stadium which could be given to home fans if the percentage is not reciprocated why bother, it is like giving Aberdeen the brommie and saying we want 7500 of your stadium which only holds 20000 does that seem fair honestly. Percentage of stadiums seems more fair as you are asking clubs to give up home fans seats.

So we would give St Mirren 750 tickets as that's what the section holds, and in return we'd only be entitled to 118 fans?

No we can talk to certain clubs when they can't fill out their percentage of ibrox and can try to increase our tickets when we travel to certain clubs that can't fill their stadiums.

Percentage alone is meaningless unless you also factor in average seat occupancy. If Aberdeen typically fill only 70% of Pittodrie and Rangers fill 95% of Ibrox, it's not hard to see which supporters are giving up more.

You already have situations where clubs are cutting allocations to Rangers, knowing full well that the upshot will be even more empty seats in their stadiums. Ibrox is a completely different proposition, where every seat occupied by an opposition fan is a seat denied to a Rangers fan. For that reason, while the idea of percentage allocations might carry some abstract logic, in reality its completely unfair and self-defeating.

That is where dialogue with certain clubs comes in with the likes of Killie, Dundee, Livingston, St Johnstone, Ross county, Motherwell where we will get whole stands because these clubs want the blue pound. We can all agree on the percentage but it can be adjusted before the games when clubs know they can't fill out their stadiums or fail to fill their allocation at ibrox nothing is set in stone. These clubs cutting rangers allocation are cutting their nose to spite their face in the long run it will hurt them.

They just don't care about that. It's crazy and short-sighted. Scottish football is hating itself into oblivion.
