Gers Front men

Recommended Posts

We all think we should be playing 4-4 fucking 2 (to quote mike Basset) but who should be out forward line?

I was going to start a poll but it would mean about 762 options.

I hope to see Cousin and Darcheville or Cousin, Darcheville AND Buffel.

But that's 3 Gribz. 3 doesn't fit into 2. :fish:

buffel won't be playing for a while IMO and I don't see why he should  4-3-3 would do for me

The amount of strikers we have is maybe too much. Back in the hey-day Ally McCoist and Hateley were rarely kept apart or rested. Now though we have umpteen strikers and Walter still doesn't know his best front pairing or who will be the most consistant !?!

I honestly think smith should play cousin and darchvile up front against barca on wednesday night, both have the face, both have the skill and both can hold the ball up to hepl each other.

I mean what harm can it do?

We all know that we will go out in a 4-5-1 formation on Wednesday night but I am with you buba - we really have nothing to lose in this game so I would like to see WS start JCD and Cousin in a 4-4-2 and see how they get on.

We aren't expected to take anything from the game and most Gers fans (Ian and Pete aside :fish: ) also don't expect us to get a result - so I would rather we went out trying to compete (which we will do no matter the formation) and be more attack-minded.
