Between Butland and Roofe for me. Went for Butland

Went for Davies, thought he had a really good game.  Gets such a slagging from most supporters too.

Roofe for me, keeper was also excellent as was Borna and Ben Davies

Lundstram for me. A few misplaced passes aside I thought his drive and energy were really good. Davies, Butland, Roofe had good games also.

There are a few candidates for me:

- Butland: made several good saves and was assured; a second half flap was his only negative

- Davies: rarely troubled and tidied up well

- Goldson: dominant in the air and covered well

- Lundstrum:  more second half than anything, but he was crucial to getting the ball moving from the back, which we struggled to do for 35 mins first half

- Matondo: a constant threat with his pace

 

But for me it goes to Roofe, who led the line well and was a constant threat.  He makes such a difference when we can keep him fit.

Back 4 plus keeper all excellent, Lundstram pivotal I driving us forward 2nd half, Matondo a constant threat and Roofe showing again he's probably the best striker at club. Have gone for Davies as MOTM.
