All the medics and manager's fault he should never have been allowed to carry on after first treatment never mind second a poor show.

Well said, three generations of my family were screaming "Get him off" the first time he went down holding his knee. Very foolish to let him play on.

Watching the Matondo drama on Sunday, I was reminded of Naismith at Pittodrie 13-14 years past..

Naismith fell with no one around him, was treated, got up and played on for several minutes. He fell again and was removed, later diagnosed as a cruciate tear and, disappeared for nearly a calendar year.

Matondo was down twice, received treatment on both occasions before going down again without contact. I suspect there will be a later diagnosis?

I noticed after first treatment, and said to my son, that Matondo when walking/slight jog seemed to be trailing his right foot.Although he managed a sprint again it was obvious when he moved at walking pace. How the hell this was not seen by the medical lot annoys me.
