Because he was badly positioned and watched as the ball sailed over his head - Shankland was left with a free header. If he can't win the header he needs to stop Shankland get a free header

Ridvan has been here for years and has shown very little to suggest he has what it takes to be a constant in our team.

Suppose he could either try grow a girrafe neck or ask inspector gadget for his elastic one. Maybe then he get to the high balls.

The lads just need to empty the tank over the next 4 games up until the intl break. Give it absolutely everything - have a couple of days off and then spend a week with the new gaffer on the training pitch.

I was impressed with Shankland today.

im not normally but his goal was some finish from that angle and his general play was good until hearts fell out the game.

Another one that got away imo.

Ridvan wasn't even close to being at fault for the first goal. Yer man Tav was. The midfield was, letting them switch a throw in from one side of the park to the other. It was an appalling goal to lose. We defended in slow motion and showed no reaction to their throw in.

Tav won't let anyone else take them. Haha It's what he does.

Barisic can. And has on so many occasions. Granted he was missing today. Ridvan put one right on Lammers head first half and he pulled out the way of it.

Not true, watch it back. The Hearts goal was Ridvan's fault and SPL teams target his ariel weakness.

Continue to blame others for his inability to defend or attack all you want, he is not what we require

More reliable than Roofe, better than Dessers, more goals than Danilo, younger than Colak.....£16m worth of strikers there and Shankland wouldn't have cost us a penny over 3. Rangers recruitment summed up under Ross Wilson.

Shankland is an SPL level player and showed that by failing in Belguim. If that's the level you want for Rangers, then we'll not he winning many trophies.

I wish we'd get over this not signing Scots players, there's plenty of guys that would have improved us over the last few years.

Shankland is one such player.

If he was marking Shankland then he wouldn't have needed either.
