The first two are players with ability who play half heartedly while the latter plays with his heart but with half the ability.

I think this frustrates me more than anything, they have the ability and we all know what they are capable of but sadly they have no heart :(

Did the PL house rumour not start about 2 weeks after he left?

He went where the money was, so what does that tell you about his love of the Gers? If he'd really wanted to stay here, he'd still be here, simple as that.

Agreed

Didnt PL want to stay on but he just couldnt agree to a improved contract?

Yip, I don't think he liked the idea of being part of the new wage structure that was being put in place. He wanted a new megabucks deal which just wasn't going to happen.

You can see his point of view, how's anyone expected to survive on 15 grand a week?

Were we linked with George McCartney of West Ham in the summer?

The Hammers are in for Readings Nicky Shorie which could mean McCartney could be available.

If S Smith doesnt get back to full fitness then McCartney would be a great buy. He is attacking and has a bit of pace on him and gets forward to support the left midfielders.
