Whilst we are trying to solve our striking issue, he's come in and scored a goal, nearly set up a another. I'm happy enough with that. Was it perfect? Far from it but if it helps us gain three points, that will do for me.

If Dessers could cut out the dithering in the box and shoot sooner, I think he'd be a decent striker.

It's the right thing to do but to hope for a result from the SFA in the week before a cup final is beyond optimism.

I can see why Cifu got a red but it's just another sign of how soft football is getting. 

You're lucky if you see one good tackle a game nowadays - it's a dying art.
