I didn't think Dowell played that well. 

 

McCausland did well but I'll go for Dessers as well. It was noticeable that the team started playing much further up the park as soon as he came on.

On a night of below par performances I've gone for Dessers for his contribution to winning the match for us.

No one had a great game last night. I'm surprised to see so many votes for Dowell, who I thought had a decent but uninspiring game. It's not long since I scoffed at the very idea of Cyriel Dessers getting a game but here we are .... I'm voting for him as MOTM. Never say never I guess.

 

The standouts for me were Ridvan, who was just awful throughout, and the incomparable Sam Lammers who inspired such hilarity around me every time he tried and failed to impersonate a professional football player.

Went for Dowell, thought he passed and probed all night and married it with the hard yards and winning his battles.

 

Add to that he's left footed and 6'1 and we might have the Joe Aribo replacement we've been craving, early days though.

 

Honourable mentions are Dessers, Tav and McCausland for me.

Voted Dessers for his goal and winning the penalty. Tav also got another goal and assist and Dowell improved as the game went on.

Thought we were poor last night more so after they were reduced to 10.

 

Voted for someone i never ever thought i'd vote for....Dessers for his goal and assist even though he was as wasteful as the rest.

And if he scores a hatrick on 30/12, far from being raised from the dead by the Messiah, he will become the Messiah.
