Aye, has to be the wee man who really put himself about the game throughout and probably had his best match for us.

Others did quite well for periods (MacAusland, Lundstram, Dowell and Cantwell) but Yilmaz was good for the whole game.

There appears to be a mixture of consternation and angst present.

I voted Butland and would do so again. I believe truly big players arrive and make a telling contribution. Going into the last 15 minutes of the first half and the game sitting at nil-nil, a fantastic through ball from Killie split our central defenders. Vassell's first touch took him across Soutar, his second saw him stride clear into our box. Butland's reaction was to time his approach and remain big. The keeper deflected the ball out and saved Rangers from going one down at a point where we had only achieved a single snap shot on target.

Ridvan played very well yesterday but in my opinion the telling contribution came from Jack Butland. Ridvan was awarded the sponsor's man of the match thus he received a bit of Turkish Delight.
