An own goal & a penalty!!!

Those would have been sufficient for the three points if we could have defended properly.

So Dessers is the only forward player who's allowed to score goals?  Dessers is our top scoring forward player.

He's not good enough for us but he's not solely the issue.

No he isn’t the only forward allowed to score goals but he’s our main striker and could/ should have had a hat trick today

He need replaced for next season.

Got what we deserved from that with a performance as bad as anything I can remember. Don't think we had one player that can say they did what they were asked to do and the lack of quality was stark. All is not lost but if the players don't believe, I doubt many fans will either.

It's games like these where you utilize the squad and probably try something different. It was going to be a fight, so Wright, Sterling, McCausland could have been a choice. Likewise, 4-2-3-1 again didn't really work, and we even subbed Silva again for naught, who was given no service whatsoever. He could easily have kept his place.

There was no creativity chap in the middle who played e.g. the Davis role, whatever Dowell tried, it didn't work. And our defenders keep playing triangles at the back with Lundstram will give me nightmares for years to come ... even when time was ticking out. the main point of bother is that we have seen this time and time again .... please Philllipe, wield the axe.

We look incapable of beating anyone right now.

Agreed but what do we do? We simply have to move on quickly. Go and beat Dundee and then take it from there. That leaves us 1 point behind going into the last 5 games. Anything can then happen.

I think what he’s saying is we shouldn’t be relying on a o.g & a penalty.

We created chances & were in good position plenty times today.

Hahaha - here's another simple fact. Without the odd assist and penalty, we'd be further behind than we are now.

Any striker - which is the norm at every other club - could have taken any of Tav's penalties.

In any case, no matter the credit he has, every game requires that he shows up and if he doesn't, critique will come his way. What did he do today bar converting a penalty that didn't mean anything?

As well us being unable to defeat Celtic, we have dropped 11 points to teams who have finished in the bottom 6.

Let's be brutally honest, we were only in the title race as Celtic have regressed.

We have the same failings under Clement as we did under Gio and a Beale.

I'm not writing Clement off but we can't deny that recently, his team selections and tactics have been baffling and have cost us dearly.

We need a huge change in mindset right through the club. The honeymoon periods are over.

Hahaha - what striker at our club has the goals and assists of Tav?

He was poor today, but so was every other player (who started or brought on).

So given your thinking, if any other player took the penalty today, it would have been indulgence?

No, but we should be able to rely on our defence (and keeper) to stop Ross County from scoring 3 goals.

Let's not kid ourselves, Ross County got in as good as, or better positions today (and missed) than we did today.

Nothing much has changed really, we had a good honeymoon period under Clement but nothing has changed in as much as we need a squad rebuild this summer. Unfortunately the Jan signings have largely not worked either through injury, lack of desire or lack of skill.
