He's trying to micromanage on his way out the door. Let them do what they want to do. King, Park etc, left us a fucking mess. His opinions are irrelevant. No I don't. I don't think anyone can deny he was part of the initial discussions regarding this "take-over". And again, we asked questions (by Talksport) and he gave answers. You have a choice, you can listen to him or you can ignore him.

You have a choice, you can listen to him or you can ignore him. No one is trying to. You're misinterpreting me here, Dave King is ego tripping making out as if he's still important, the "kingmaker" of this transaction if you will, and trying to dictate who would be the best manager for the situation we're going to find ourselves in. When in reality, he's a big toys out the pram merchant that walked away when it mattered most and allowed Douglas Park to take liberties. The sooner he shuts up, concludes his side of selling his shares, and moves on, frankly the better.
Popular Post Uilleam 6,549 Posted yesterday at 08:34 Popular Post Share Posted yesterday at 08:34 (edited) Dave King is, as a matter of plain fact, a dog who has had his day. This may be a cause of regret, or of rejoicing, but that is a debate for elsewhere, one with which I would, almost certainly, decline to engage. As he leaves the building, his response to questioning, on appointment of a coach, or indeed on any other matters pertaining to the future running of the Club, should have been short, simple, and to the point: 'It's not my call - ask the new guys on the block. I will keep my own counsel, unless they ask for my opinion, or advice.' That would have been both polite, and politic. ranger_syntax 4,892 Posted yesterday at 08:44 Share Posted yesterday at 08:44 About time somebody said it. Thank you Dave King. It needs to be Gerrard if we can't afford Ferguson. This current board are going to make a terrible mistake (no surprise to me) and give it to the untested Ancelotti.

I can deny it. I believe very little that comes out his mouth these days. Yes he will have been approached about the sale of his shares, which he's been trying to punt for years, but I very much doubt his involvement was much more than that.

Well, he could not have had a better football education. Untested or not.
