The Max Aarons transfer is exactly the type of deal we should be looking to make. Premier League player who has lost his way slightly. Mid 20s, Premier League experience and sell on value. Yes please.

My only concern with Max Aarons would be why he managed just 4 appearances (118 minutes) for Valencia last season. Doesn't appear to be due to injuries, he was just constantly on the bench.

 

That said, if we can get anything close to the form he showed at Norwich that earned him the move to Bournemouth, it could be a great low-risk signing. The Valencia loan had a buy option, so I’d imagine we’d be looking at a similar structure.

Cifuentes' heart didn't look in it.  Aris don't want to pay the obligatory £3m but they may well be prepared to make a lower offer.  

 

We really need to shed a lot of well paid deadwood.  Matondo probably the top of the list.

Versatile full back that can play at both RB and LB - wonder if he play both positions at the same time.
