I think it is more to do with nobody has a clue what they mean by “culture”, and probably have very little faith in us being able to carry it out.  We don’t have time to imbed a culture (whatever that means) as we just need to win. Our style has to be one that beats a low block as that is what we face more often than not. It’s all well and good saying we will install a system of play that is attractive or plays from back to front or whatever but if it doesn’t break the 10 man wall then it won’t result in winning football and a league win.

The negativity comes from signing one squad player from Dundee and a backup player on loan from Bournemouth  in the 5 or 6 weeks since the season ended and with our first massive Euro game only a month away and 10 players having left the squad.

That's partly my point - you're (not you specifically) taking the p*ss when you don't know what it is.

The winning culture of the 90s is a club culture.

We can take the p*ss when/if it fails, but I'm not going to dismiss the new board's intention to rid the club of the culture of failure that has been infecting us for the past 15 years.

Playing style is separate from a club culture.

I share the frustration around the lack of new signings. That's got nothing to do with club culture.

Crappy hipster jargon has been around for a while.

I don't think it's hipster jargon.

We've had a club culture for decades, which has generally been based on winning. We've lost that over the past 15 years.

It's garbage jargon for me. A winning mentality is what we had. Meanings from Oxford Dictionary.

Mentality meaning - the characteristic way of thinking of a person or group.

Culture meaning - The arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.

Try the second definition.

All hot air, at the end of the day.

It may well be.

But I'm not going to mock the intent.

Yeah, Aarons appears out of our budget, in terms of permanent signing, so he'll not be here to sit on the bench, IMO.

Blue sea of Ibrox is a culture thing that springs to my mind , as Rangers fans we need  to often ask ourselves to check the internal Sat nav is it guiding us towards hatred or down that wrong path that would make Jock Wallace shake his head or is it unconditional roaring support no matter what it takes or costs.
