There is a reason the song for Boyd is "he gets the ball, he scores a goal" and that is that the fact is he scores goals regularly and is the best chance of a 30 goal per season regular goalscorer since McCoist. See that's the point though, we play a long ball style of football and when Boyd is up top himself he can't win the high balls and there's no one around to help him out.
