Yep, the linesman did get it wrong (again) but we shouldn't need to rely on one-off decisions to ensure we win matches.

Why not Frankie ? The simple fact is that the officials are there to apply the laws of the game. They got it wrong again and we drop points again.

I see what you are saying but, at the end of the day, we have scored two legitimate goals in two games and both have been chalked off, WRONGLY.

A wrong decision is a wrong decision. I also don't think it is a case of "relying" on officials - surely it is simply a case of expecting the officials to apply the laws correctly.

Walter doesn't need to go back to last season to look at the imbalance in decisions. Celtic got a non-penalty in the opening game, Utd then had TWO penalties denied in the next game and they have been the beneficiaries of multiple decisions this season.

Maybe I am just frustrated but the number of decisions which have gone FOR Celtic and AGAINST Rangers has already made a HUGE difference in the standings. We should be 4 points better off whilst they should be AT LEAST 4 points worse off.

Sorry but the standard of officiating is going to cost us the league as much as our inconsistency.

We should have been miles ahead without this "goal". We are letting ourselves down by thinking we are owed anything by any official.

He got it wrong, lets not dwell. We only have ourselves to blame for missing stone wall sitters.

Any team that wins the League have loads of 1-0 wins, no matter how good or bad they are.

If wrong decisions are going to rob us of these, then we will not win the league

You can say things even out in the end, but when are the decisions going to go against Celtc......will they ever??

We ARE owed honest decisions by the officials.

Remember McDonald's offside goal against us last season? A decision that could arguably have cost us the league? Same guy.

Co-incidence? Hmmm.

If we were complaining we had a goal chalked off that we shouldn't have got then fair enough.

But we are complaining that a goal was wrongly chalked off that would have won us the game.

Effectively what you are saying is that we need to win every game 2-0 just to record a 1-0 score line and that is ridiculous. Even the best teams will win games by the odd goal. If the officials deny them those goals then what chance do they have?

Have to say I completely agree with BD and S_A.

It is not that we think we are "owed" anything by the officials - other than being owed appropriate decision-making.

I fail to see how anyone can consider this as thinking we believe we are "owed" decisions.

It is quite simple - the officials are there to make the CORRECT DECISIONS. Regardless of whether we "should have won without it" the point is that if the officials got the decisions correct we WOULD HAVE WON.

It isnt a case of being owed anything.
