I didn't mean it as in you NEED to put a lot on to win, but with odds of 4/6.. if you put a fiver on that you get £8.33 back, which is a profit, obviously, of £3.33.. which is hardly worth it, really. So aye, with odds of like 4/6 you're more inclined to put a bit more cash on it to make it worthwhile.

So does that fiver multiply against the 4, then you divide the total by the 6 ?

WInner, winner. Chicken Dinner.

Decent movie but the book is better. The guy who the book is based on actually had a cameo in the movie - he was the dealer when there were gunshots went off in the casino the night of the Tyson fight.

Read the book a few years ago and thought it was ace. Film was not bad like you say. Didn't realise the guy got himself a part in the film. Good on him.

Off-topic I know.... apparently when they filmed some of the scenes in Vegas the casinos wouldn't let him within 25 feet of the blackjack tables. Seemingly the author (Ben Mezrich) took a fair bit of journalistic licence in it. Although based on a true story some of it is embellished.

One of the guys from the other group (Reptilians) eventually won the world series of blackjack.

Some very interesting guys .
