There's a neat German saying for a very unexpected outcome: "I've seen horses vomit in front of the pharmacy!", yet, if we show up like we did of late, and they play at 75 % of their capabilities ... There's a point where a team and combined management over the season has used up all the considerable credit one can give them. I still hope that those who venture there and those who watch it have a great day.

They have a knack of torpedoing their league campaign late in the season. Two weak results at the most inopportune time, and that's that.

I hope Sunderland can remember how to win a game. I want them to go up or failing that, Sheffield United. I don’t want either Coventry or Bristol City. In fact I’m overwhelmed with rage that they got into the top four at the expense of WBA and Blackburn. I’m away to break my neighbour’s windows.

Leeds have just won the Championship, but Farke is sitting aloof, unmoved, in the spirit of Mourinho after Porto won the CL. Farke is clearly our next manager.
