I think it's rather simplistic to put all our troubles onto Tavernier. I think it's more symbolic than anything literal. He has flaws but I still think the positives outweigh them, for now. He'll stick around, he'll remain captain - I think stripping him would create more issues - but he won't necessarily play every game.

The clever man wouldnt have answered or spoke about Tavernier at all , but now hes said he sees no reason to change the captaincy and that only means hes going nowhere and hes still going to captain the team. Its the same mistake all the other managers made. Only a matter of time till Tavernier sees off another clueless manager.
