It's people being selfish and putting themselves before the club.

Generally not, but his insistance to play McCulloch whenever possible and never sub him raises some questions with me. Probably not a jobs for the boys thing but perhaps more related to the position of captain?
-
How do they do that? Advertising revenue through number of hits? Tends to be peanuts, does it not?
-
Why does the site need the hits? I usually don't follow links. If people post links to blogs or websites I usually don't read them. If people want me to read something then they can post it on here.

I think it's only the 2nd tier's points that revert to zero. This therefore means that if a club believes that they are going to finish in the bottom 4 of the SPL there is no inentive for that team to win any games until the split as their points in the 2nd tier start the same as the 9th team.

I'd agree. It would be disrespectful to the Queen to turn this ceremony into a points scoring exercise.

I can't imagine it is copyrighted so should be ok to post.

I think that it would be good for a definitive objective account of it to be written. However I'm not sure that it can be done yet. There is still some issues that requires clarification, eg D&P's role, and I'd reckon that much will come out in the fullness of time. I also believe that it would not be a great seller at the moment. It's too recent in the memory for most bears and is still painful. Perhaps in a few years.

I was most impressed by the showing of the Loving Cup ceremomny on the big screens on Saturday. Charles Green did a small introduction and the David Mason gave a detailed presenation on the history and tradations of the Loving Cups and why one was presented to Rangers. The National Anthem was sung (the crowd joined in) and then the directors toasted the Queen. It was great to be able to hear something of the history (although it was difficult to make out everything Mason said) and witness the ceremony. Great idea by Green to share it with the fans.

I think that you are correct, but it would be good if someone could confirm definitively.

Have we not signed away that right when we were blackmailed into accepting the SFA and SPL's conditions for "readmittance" to the SFL?
-
The players weren't unregistered and the investigation has nothing to do with the players' registrations. The issue is in relation to payments made to players that were not contractual. I haven't got time to go into it now but there is enough in the majority ruling in the BTC to suggest that the SPL would not win the legal argument on this due to the nature of the payments. On top of that, it boils down to an administrative issue. Can they really strip titles for that?

I think that they were more from the 20s and 30s.

THe offending line is covered by the Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012 I've seen the relevant part of the letter that the club say came from UEFA.
-
If you don't want it mentioned then don't mention it. Don't start telling lies about it. That is what the other crowd do.
-
I guess not. You've got such great hearing that you can hear what everyone in a 30,000 crowd sings.
-
Just because you didn't hear it doesn't mean it was. Where were you sitting?
-
Coz I'm telling the truth, unlike some.
-
So you can vouch for all 30,000 in the stadium. You heard what the people around me were singing?

There are some in the Rangers support that mean RC when using fen.ian. I think that we need to be realistic and accept that. Celtic use the same argument when it comes to Hun and it's laughable when they use it. It's a great suggestion that we change the offending word to rebel but do we as a support have the discipline to all change it? I don't think that we do in the same way as we haven't had everyone drop the reference to the pope in Follow Follow. UEFA banned TBB and until we become more disciplined in our use of language then it's going to stay banned unfortunately.

Are you sure? I've never seen it and can't find it in the Apps store.

I use Quickoffice. It is pretty good for Word. A bit cumbersome for Excel but is usable.

FFS. That was a lot of crap, wasn't it. Got a few problems with my eyes at the moment and the small print on the iPad can be difficult to read.
