Chasing Sakala and wanting to sign Sima for more than we sold the former is just wild to me. That's the opposite of the trading model working well.

Did we chase Sakala? He got an incredible offer (£100K/week?) and we couldn't stand in his way.

I'm not sure that we want to sign Sima either.

I wasn't able to see the game, but on paper it looked more of a 4-3-3 lineup, with Cantwell and Lawrence playing as free #8s? Was that how it developed, or not?

Seemed like a 4-2-3-1, with Lundstram and Lawrence as the 2, with Lundstram more of a 6 and Lawrence an 8. Cantwell was more of a 10.

  3. I thought Lundstram and Cantwell played well. McCausland and Dessers (!) did well in bits and Sima grabbed a couple of well taken goals.

I'm going for Cantwell as he set up our 2 goals as well as looking dangerous.

A packed Ibrox isn’t an easy place for any team to visit and a loud, clear backing from the stands does provide a tangible benefit to our play. That was missing last night and, as much as the players must take ownership for their own bad performances, so too must the manager.

The lack of pre-match music seemed to put a dampener of the atmosphere. We had the Butland song and that was about it.

I know some say that we shouldn't have music and let the fans build up their own atmosphere and that may work on the odd occasion, but play it by ear. Last night, we needed pre-match tunes to build up the atmosphere and it just didn't happen and the crowd was fairly flat throughout.

I am gobsmacked Lammers was kept on the field so long and Cantwell was binned in the first half. If the excuse was that Cantwell wasn't doing what he was asked to, then what fucking excuse does Lammers have?

There's a difference between playing (really) badly and not doing what you're told.

Lammers was playing in the area that he was told. The manager wanted Cantwell to play wide right to stretch them and was told that several times and he kept moving inside or coming short

McCausland took his goal well but also gave the ball away a few times.

Yeah, I thought he'd a dreadful second half, apart from the goal.

Tav was good first half but very poor second, Davies did well in the second half, but Lundstram was our best player throughout.

I have attended the last two AGMs, both were hosted in the Clyde Auditorium(the Armadillo). The Clyde Auditorium's seated capacity is in excess of 2,000. Both AGMs were well attended, each had attendances of several hundred. I believe Edmiston House has a standing capacity of several hundred, seated will be considerably lower. Parking will also be a problem.

I understand the club wanting to utilise the facility; however, both elderly and infirm Rangers supporters must be recognised and standing for in excess of an hour is unacceptable.

I'd have thought Edmiston House could take "several hundred" seated, depending on how many. 400-500 shouldn't be a problem.

They could limit the parking around the stadium/NEH to blue badge holders and open the Albion to everyone else.

I think that they should be able to make it work.

I agree that standing at the AGM is unacceptable.
