  1. the owner's seriously ill in hospital
  2. the celtc stewards are just tims with yellow jackets...bitter ones at that
  3. I watched that TV documentary on them last year and liked the fact that they were developing youth football in their area...i hope that continues.. but the whole gretna 'fairytale' was never likely to last...they dont have the fan base for a start
  4. the fairytale has a nightmare ending by the look of it...
  5. I'm happy being British and know some celtic supporters who feel the same way..I'm also have no problem with the Queen...some of the monarchy are useless articles but i think the Queen does a good job at representing the best aspects of Britishness. What it all has to do with being a Rangers supporter is up to you...i have very little interest in the politics of Northern Ireland but i also feel our connection with the province is something we shouldnt shy away from...we have a very loyal fanbase in Ulster and its something the club should embrace. As for the terrorists, thats a thing of the past and should stay there..
  6. Man u v Portsmouth snould be a good game... looks like Chelsea, Man U, WBA and Boro for the semi finals ...with Chelsea winning it again come cup final day
  7. haha scouse bastards...well done the tykes!!!
  8. I like a moan:D but they could be classed as an offensive weapon....like having a hot brick in your hand
  9. they are dismal....see my reply to frankies 'lets help kenny scott....' post
  10. The pies are offensive and can only be eaten when smothered in brown sauce...i should know i have 2 every game;-) i'd like the supplier hauled up before the cops for crimes against taste...
  11. in thee cup for tottingham...sing along now
  12. last night...did anyone see the 'Spurs Loyal' flag? any connection with our support? I know a few teds that like spurs but its mainly chelsea with our support... and theres a spurs/ aberdeen hooligan link... just curious...
  13. just my opinion...but i think he's at the heart of everything good we do...he's a motivator, calm on the ball, finds space, rarely wastes a ball, switches play, gets forward and is giving us goals this season...what more can he do? Cuellar is a great defender but lets not view this with rose tinted glasses here...yes he's made some great tackles and reads the game well but he's made gaffes too and his distribution has been poor at times.
  14. my wish list...I'd go down the german route again...vogts was the wrong one...but voller or klinnsman or mattheus IMO would have been great...lothar could renew his aquaintance with bazza
  15. aye...well done!....you mutton molesting bastards!
  16. it was only a matter of time...sky punditry beckons
  17. Ferguson should be player of the year and i live in constant fear that he'll get injured and miss a run of games....i really worry about that and the effect it'd have on the team.
  18. It's a long season and we are getting the results while not playing at our best...mark of champions so they say
  19. have to hold my hands up and say i did boo konterman one time at Ibrox...cant remember what he did but it was bertie bombscare at his worst and i think it was allied to the fact that Rangers were in decline with the leaping leprachaun's sellik on the up. Football's a passionate game and sometimes...personally speaking...I get so uptight at the ineptitude I'm watching be it Rangers players, opposition players or shite referees ( plenty of them ) that i'm fit to explode...so i can understand someone booing...but its something i try not to do....also we as a support are guilty of getting on players backs to the extent that they lose confidence and ability to play...i suppose every team's support does...but there's 50,000 of us and there's a long list of players who have had it tight off us over the years
  20. He is a cautious manager..no doubt...and tha's why i think we'll win the league as he'll keep it tight when we play the plastic paddies and it'l be like the nineties all over again for them.... as far as europe's concerned...he tried to play attacking football first time around and we got routinely gubbed on our travels ( and at home )...lesson learned by WS...making sure it doesnt happen 2nd time around
  21. I dont think it neccessarily follows that they will be successful
  22. They were entertaining....which was more than could be said about the game
  23. I dont think Ferguson deserves a 4 but i do agree he wasnt as effective as he can be...i think he finds it difficult to work within WS's ultra-cautious tactics at times and doesnt have the players around him reading his game...just my opinion... Davis...i thought..looked nervous but started to play the 'Thomson' role quite effectively as the game progressed...before he tired. Charlie!!! Charlie!!! is there a more exasperating player at Rangers right now? I also thought Pana were better than average...athletic, well organised, comfortable on the ball...just didnt have a striker worthy of the name...and their fans!...were they actually watching the game or just going thru bizarre 90 minute ritual?...where they bounce about, sway, wave their arms about and point at each other...
