Its very early but we are pressing really high and really fast, they cant keep control of it when we pressure them at this pace. We need to be able to keep it up though, not just for a short spell.

Terrible choice by Windass there to push Morelos so wide, either use Morelos as the decoy and go yourself straight on and shoot, or wait till the defender commits to tackle you and put Morelos in clear. A great chance gone.

A good point BD, by taking JN out of a job at Falkirk and giving him the gig as number 2 here, it implies the board are now to stop looking for a proper manager and make do with the youth coach, no matter the results. So a 5-0 tanking today for example will make no difference. Really strange timing as well, just before the OF game. Surely you keep this quiet until this game is done, then if we are not mauled, go ahead with this. Rest assured if we are thrashed today the calls for a proper manager will only intensify, and the negativity towards the board will hugely increase as fans get more and more frustrated with their perceived incompetence.

Interesting line-up, I dont understand playing Windass and Nico as both are best in the same number 10 position, so i'm guessing Windass will be wide left where he has been far less useful and Nico's job will be to try to play Morelos into space on his own up there against a back 4, and I cant see who is going to get up in support of our very alone striker. Set pieces look our best option to score I think. Hopefully we can defend properly, dont allow them to overlap in wide areas (Windass and Candieas will need to work really hard defensively) and fight hard in midfield. I would bite your hand off for a draw right now. And before anyone starts on being negative, I have tried to make this as positive as i can!

Nicholl is a far more experienced and accomplished coach and manager than Murty will ever be, the number 1 & 2 in this partnership is the wrong way round. Not that i'm saying JN should be our manager, but he has a far greater chance of success than GM has.
