I have never doubted The BKS intentions but their stumbling block has always been their lack of financial clout. I was highly sceptical of their deal with ticketus (well who wouldnt be) and am pretty glad that their name has dropped out the picture. Millers bid is a non starter due to his demands on the SPL and SFA and im actually surprised that D&P have said they would accept it. I wouldnt rule out a late bid from the singapore bid either. From what ive witnessed so far anything is possible. Kennedy on the other hand has always said he would not let Rangers go into liquidation and has been pretty consistent when commenting on it. I dont think he will walk away and im very pleased that hes in talks with the blue knights. Together they tick all the boxes for the survival of Rangers. The one thing they that they hold over the other bids is that theyre not in it for the money. They will be there for the good of the club, not to make money out of it. In all honesty they are our only real option. Up till now everyone has been jostling for position and forcing each others hand, running our emotions through the ringer in the process. But the end game is apon us and by monday night we will know the direction the direction we are heading in. My money is on the knights and kennedy.

if rangers get liquidated then they cease to exist. with it goes our history. any team that comes out of the ashes will be a new team with a new start, no matter how much its buttered up.

seems the bks are thinking about another bid!

i said they struggled to raise, not couldnt. seems they went to ticketus first and then had to raise it them selves. That alone doesnt fill me with any confidence whatsoever. They dont seem to have any real backing other than using other peoples money. hardly a recipe for success.

I think the Bks were going to be dependent on some kind of share issue to fund their ambitious plans. No harm in that but the timescale of organising and getting a share issue up and running was just too great. the SPL sanctions that will be pushed through for the start of the new season pushed them out of the picture as much as the singapore deal with ticketus did. But the fact that they struggled to 500,000 quid whilst trying to buy the club is quite laughable. All talk and no walk im afraid. Basically their plan was to run up more debt till the fans chipped in. thats not what we need right now. The SC seem to be the only ones with any real financial backng to fund their plans for the club should they win. It will be a travesty if they arent the prefered bidder.

seems the SC want it more. never was a fan of the bks as i suspected they had no money. I think they expected to raise some through a share but i dont think they had the time needed given the spls sanction proposals. The singapore bid was my prefered bidder and it certainly looks like they mean business. Theyve shown up the Bks bid for all its worth. Nothing more than a pipe dream in my eyes and a potential disaster in the making should they have won.
