  1. I think they'll have that updated quite soon mate. They needed to wait until the transfer window was closed before arranging for the photography sessions. The squad trained at Ibrox today and that's normally a sign that they were booked in to have their photos taken.
  2. If anything I'd have thought that Ally's agent is probably more to blame than anyone because it's him who would have negotiated Ally's contract in the first place.
  3. You really do have to wonder how on earth some of these folk manage to get jobs as reporters & journalists when half of them don't even have a basic grasp of their own language.
  4. On the face of it that appeared to be a good gesture, but at the end of the day Ally couldn't be seen to be voting against the Club's board of directors and he couldn't be seen to be voting FOR them either, so he had very little choice other than to give away the proxy rights for his votes if he wanted them to count.

  6. Shiels was in full training today, so he can't be injured.
  7. Wednesday, 09 September 2015 15:00 Armed Forces Day At Ibrox Written by Rangers Football Club RANGERS and the Rangers Charity Foundation will welcome over 250 armed services personnel as part of our annual Armed Forces Day celebrations to honour the brave men and women of the Royal Navy, Army and RAF this Saturday at the Livingston match. We have a proud tradition of supporting our troops and today’s special event provides an opportunity for fans to show their appreciation for their work and sacrifice, as well as back the Rangers Charity Foundation’s Armed Forces Partnership in aid of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the RAF Benevolent Fund and Erskine. A donation of £1 from every special commemorative programme sold will go towards the Foundation’s initiative as well as funds raised from the can collection at the turnstiles, where Foundation volunteers will be stationed before the match. Armed Services Day will kick-off outside the Stadium with community engagement activities in the Argyle Car Park from 1pm and a fantastic performances outside the Megastore in the lead up to kick-off from ‘Poppy Girls’ singer Megan Adams. 12 year old Megan, whose Dad Lieutenant Commander William Adams MBE has served in the Royal Navy for 27 years, will be busking for fans as they arrive at the Stadium between 1pm and 2pm. Megan has previously sung on the pitch at Ibrox and at the Royal Albert Hall. A representative from each branch of the armed services will lead the teams out onto the pitch prior to kick-off and representatives from 39 Engineer Regiment will abseil into the Stadium and hand the match ball over to the referee. Celebrations will continue at half time when 8 Club representatives will carry a Rangers Armed Forces Day banner onto the pitch escorted by 16 armed forces personnel to receive a huge Ibrox welcome. As well as welcoming over 250 serving personnel, the Club is also playing host to representatives from each branch of the armed services in the Directors Box. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/10071-armed-forces-day-at-ibrox
  8. Not a win, but certainly a very spirited come-back!
  9. As others have said, they're different types of player, so that makes it difficult to compare them, but if I was in a position where I had to make a choice between the two players there would be absolutely no competition. It would be Zelalem. He's in a different class. One of these players who's so good that he almost makes the game look effortless.

  11. You might already know this, but just in case you didn't, the writer is a different John from JohnMc/amms here on the forum mate.
  12. That one was at Almondvale, but a month earlier under McCall Livi came to Ibrox and walked away with a 1-1 draw as well which was an even worse result.
  13. As Tannochsidebear said, he's one of the worst (personally I'd say THE worst!) match officials we've had in recent years, but it's not just that this guy's a bad referee, it's unfortunately a lot more sinister than that. Time after time he's displayed a very very obvious bias against us, both while refereeing our games and also while on linesman and 4th official duty. If the guy isn't a yahoo I'd be astounded.

  16. There's 22 Referee appointments between Friday night and Tuesday, yet somehow we manage to get appointed Greg Aitken to ref' our game against Livi on Saturday..... Not that he should be able to cost us points again, but WTF?
  17. I think we should all give ourselves a big pat on the back and look forward to what's clearly going to be a brighter future mate.
  18. It's good to let it all out and get things off your chest now and again, eh?
  19. The real heroes were the guys who sat on the fence and fired shots towards both sides of it while they waited to see which side to get off on.
  20. STV released so-called 'highlights' at about 6pm yesterday which was just RangersTV's '90 in 90' video with the sound removed and a new voice over commentary added. Presumably they were given permission to do it?
  21. Check out the GPL round-up plus full results and standings tables following Saturday's emphatic and entertaining 5-0 win at Ibrox - LINK...
  22. For me, he's simply not good enough moving forward and looking medium to long term, but he's probably going to have a small part to play this season as a back-up player.
  23. This is just a wild guess, but they might be over for the Scotland v Germany match at Hampden on Monday night. Totally agree with you on those points. McKay was really superb yesterday. He looks like he's loving playing under Mark Warburton in this new system, as do all of our players.
