I've plumped for Yilmaz as his passing forward and not backing off wingers constantly was refreshing. Leon King did ok, got caught under the ball for the 2nd and couldn't cover Davies for the first. But for a 18 year old up against a very decent side deserves a mention. James Sands is never a midfielder in a million years.

Yeah, its funny how we cant compete at this level but were able to compete with RB Leipzig and BVB last season who can compete at this level. Part of me thinks when he comes out with this stuff he is having a dig at the board for spending a load of the Bassey money on NEH.

Its very much along the lines of we are outclassed at this level and it is what it is.

I think there is a few in the waste of a wage category and if we are out of contention for the league would like to see us move a few on and do a wage dump in January. Move on as many high earners as possible who don’t contribute like Morelos, Kent, Roofe. I’d even be listening to offers for Tav and Lundstram. Sakala will be on a decent package. Ben Davies will be well paid too. I know it’s pie in the sky but our wage bill is too big for us and with no Europe post Xmas can cut back on the squad.

The centre back for Napoli #3 Kim is top class. Impressed with him at Ibrox too.

Napoli are playing a different game from us here. They are faster, stronger, better movement. Pass the ball with more pace. We are miles off it. And Ben Davies has had a shocker so far.

This is my feelings on this, it seems to me he either had some hard games last season (Malmo, Hibs LCSF) or was injured for the most part. He had that good game V them at Ibrox under Gerrard but other than that was unavailable far too often and definitely not available for 2 90 mins per week. Perhaps if we hadn't signed Soutter who is rarely fit, held on to Helander who cant get fit we could have kept hold of him.

Think our wage bill is a big reason for that. Its too big. Investment may not help us improve on the park but it would help avoid us having to spend all our of cash on building NEH, fixing roofs, training ground maintenance, infrastructure projects etc and invest in the team a bit more. I expect over the next year FFP wont be as much of an issue due to increased revenue with europe and transfers brought in

Club 1872 seems to exist to serve Dave King. Wasn't the rumour that C1872 would buy DK's shares then put him on the board as thier rep? King needs to go away now.
