Yes, agree. We need more goals especially from CM/AM and RW. Haven't heard him say he is happy either I think, looking at the playing squad as is we could give him more options than he currently has. Yeah if we can get quality cheap lets get it. Its harder to do for sure. But if its an option I'm happy for us to pursue it. Am i?

Didn't they spend like 350k on him from Motherwell and he is thier highest paid player? Always going to work out well for Jack Ross that opinion.

Probably the same thing with our fans ignoring that we have sold our better players and brought in decent money with that. Our income far outweighs our outlay at this point unless I'm imagining things. But hey maybe we don't need to spend just now. Maybe our squad is in a strong position. Maybe I'm being overly critical that we haven't spent a penny on our midfield for years except that 50k for Glen Kamara. Maybe I'm imagining a right wing problem that has persisted for years. I think our manager has earned some backing in the transfer market. As much as i don't want to talk about other clubs, our biggest rivals have backed thier manager. Maybe we cant complain if we cant compete. After all if the moneys not there its not there. Besiktas reported on thier official site we paid 4 million euros on Ridvan. https://bjk.com.tr/tr/haber/84136/ridvan-yilmaz-rangers-fcye-transfer-oldu.html

Absolutely, if its what he is good at. Others have failed that are perhaps considered better managers in the Championship.
-
He will, he is waiting for the big payoff. Leicester are a shambles to be fair. Financial backing seems to have vanished.
-
Oh well on the bright side he has more time to study his mentor Brendan Rodgers.

Its ironic he left Rangers complaining he wasn't financially backed by the board. 1. Chelsea – £167.93million 2. Arsenal – £118.86million 3. West Ham United – £100.49million 4. Manchester City – £97.87million 5. Leeds United – £95.08million 6. Tottenham – £91.71million 7. Nottingham Forest – £85.28million 8. Liverpool – £77.21million 9. Wolves – £66.24million 10. Manchester United – £65.13million 11. Newcastle United – £59.4million 12. Southampton – £50.76million 13. Fulham – £50.76million 14. Aston Villa – £49.05million 14. Brentford – £45.45million 16. Everton – £32.4million 17. Crystal Palace – £31.14million 18. Bournemouth – £24.21million 19. Brighton – £17.64million 20. Leicester City – £0 planetfootball.com/quick-reads/premier-league-transfer-spend-summer-2022-liverpool-man-utd-chelsea/ I genuinely expected the Villa Board to give him some serious funds.

He will end up being one of those managers you hire if you want out of the championship but then bin off when you get to the premiership.

I think its a fair point. The money from Gerrard and Patterson may have been reinvested in the January window. But not sure how much we really spent bar Zukowski. But back then our financial outlook was very different so while its ok to be disappointed with the lack of January spend its hard to be extremely critical of it.

CL Group Stage ticket info now available
Sutton_blows_goats replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
First time in years we have made the CL. After everything we have been through and people are complaining about the price? I went to Seville in 2009 to see us in the CL and paid 50 euro for a match day ticket from their ticket office. is this package really comparatively expensive compared to that as an example nearly 13 years ago. Or perhaps we have just been out of the big times for far too long. Not sure we can complain about ticket prices and expect big signings at the same time. -
Villa 1 down v West Ham. Really surprised that they didn’t bring more players in during the summer. Gerrard was mumping his chops that the Rangers board didn’t back him, he’s hardly done well with the cash the Villa board have given him tbh. Needs results soon or he’ll be seeing much more of his family than he’d have hoped.

Yes still starting games with Sean longstaff and Chris wood dispute having endless funds. Fair play tbh.
