  1. Then it’s up to us to make it not a valuable tactic for them and batter these teams every week. But we can’t seem to break many of these teams down and win by the odd goal most times.
  2. They looked very good i thought. Still need to replace Xakha a total liability. Villa beaten by Bournemouth. Spent a bit at the start of the summer then just never bought anyone else. They need a quality striker or lower table fun awaits.
  3. Look very predictable, not creative and shaky at the back. Not a winning combo but long season ahead. Davis superb today.
  4. Great one two and finish despite the stumble. Well done Colak
  5. Looks like Colak is one of those offisde a lot strikers
  6. Will be interesting to see what honest mistakes calamity Clancy gets away with today. my line up for today gk McLaughlin dr Tavernier dl Yilmaz dc Goldson dc Davies Cm Lundstram Am Tillman Am Arfield rw Wright lw Lawrence (if Kent is fit replace with Kent and play Lawrence where arfield is) cf Colak
  7. Great result for them. Glenn took his goal well. Only say the last 40 mins but the boy Levitt was very good.
  8. Despite us bringing in lots of cash this summer i agree. The squad is still heavy with players we dont need.
  9. We asked about that lad before we signed Matondo and Lawrence supposedly. Frogs wanted too much for him.
  10. Still time yet for bodies to go. Would happily see Barisic go. I still think we could do with another forward but would have to move on Roofe first.
  11. That's because there is nothing available up front, either marked or crowded out.
  12. And to get the ball you need to find space, with movement.
  13. Maybe Morelos has better hold up play and movement than Colak which is why he got no service. Same thing has happened with Itten and Roofe at times when Morelos has been absent. We need to remember Morelos is quite good.
  14. Yeah thinking we can upgrade at GK is a panic. Sure.
  15. In the hope that a career lower league goalkeeper who has been our backup for 2 seasons, is turning 35 next month suddenly demonstrates ability that's not yet been seen? Sure we could. And we most likely will. I don't think we would have resigned McGregor had we got Sam Johnstone who went to Palace. He would have been our #1. We will probably bring in someone new next summer when McGregor's contract is up.
  16. I have concerns about CM. We have a number of bodies there but lack real stand out every game quality. Davis, Jack and Airfield cant play every game. Kamara seems to have regressed massively since 55 season. Only Lundstram at the moment is showing that and we seem to deploy him at centre back at times 🤦‍♀️ Need to give Tillman, Lawrence a chance to settle in and see what they can offer. Get Lowry fit and get him games. But would like to see a traditional #8 in to play alongside Lundstram.
  17. Didn't say it was a priority. We have a few issues despite our summers transfer work. But IMO we do need an upgrade at keeper.
  18. We still need an upgrade. McGregor is on the decline and McLaughlin is a career lower league keeper and backup for us.
  19. Top trolling from the BBC. But its ok, we need them and they apologised so we now need to put up with this. (sarcasm)
