I think we really need to examine this season and how player availability has cost us. I don't have anything against the quality of these players, in fact its the opposite i think they are fantastic footballers. But the lack of availability for the likes of Balogun, Helander, Jack, Roofe and Ramsey frustrates me greatly. It seems to be whenever we have a key player injured or unavailable these guys seem to have a recurring injury. In the case of Balogun and Jack they struggle to play more than a game a week. Same concerns over Soutter but he clearly has ability. Maybe time to let the likes of McGregor and Davis go. Same with Balogun. Also need to move on Aribo, Helander, Kent and Morelos. I would offer everyone bar Helander a new deal and if they don't sign we need to sell. Don't think we can afford to take the hit on them. Kent especially as we paid 7 million for him.

He is never going to make it at Everton so I'm sure they wouldn't be difficult to deal with.

Like renting a ferrari for 6 months and leaving it on the driveway except when your 80 year old mum took it to the shops that one time. And it spending 4 months in the garage for repairs. Mark down as a lesson learned and good luck to the guy moving forward.

Terrific to see us finish the season by lifting a trophy. Been far too long. The players missed out of celebrating with the fans last season so great they got to do it now. Hopefully this is the start of a winning habit year on year. Hearts weren’t in the game and it was hard to see anything but a Rangers win. Even if it’s through extra time. Should have been in normal time via a penalty for the shirt pull on Aribo. must also say that was one of the worst referee performances I have ever seen. It’s as if he got just about everything wrong.

Just back at Alicante base camp after bus back from Seville. Enjoyed the occasion and players done well to get us there. can’t shake the perennial loser cloud over this squad though. That trophy was there for the taking and we couldn’t get over the line again. Onto Saturday which for me is a massive must win. Big changes need in the summer. I actually agree with not opening Ibrox for a beam back. I can understand why people want to go. But after the nonsense after winning the league last year in George Square and the town i think its best the club is risk averse here and tries to distance itself from any new potential opportunities for nonsense. If we were to lose its possible there may be a few supporters of other clubs who wander by to take a pop and trouble could escalate.
