  1. Was just saying to guy next to me on Monday we should sing FF in it original form, it's been bastardised over the years. Your words are also wrong, there should be no mention of Dundee or Hamilton etc.

  3. Billy Fulerton joined Oswald Mosleys"s fascists, and he set up a Glasgow branch of the KKK. For good measure he did time for wife beating, a real nice guy eh? Your not the only one who's family came from Brigton. Most Rangers fans do not know who the song is about.
  4. "Wording has changed"? Not where I was sitting yesterday, same old words about a fascist gangster.
  5. What a plonker, too much Grey Goose after today's game.

  12. http://www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/sport/14163424.Morton_chairman_blasts_Rangers_fans__behaviour/?ref=fbshr MORTON chairman Douglas Rae has hit out at the Rangers fans who he says hurled objects including a Buckfast bottle into the away section at Ibrox a fortnight ago. According to the Golden Casket chief, items including coins, pies, golf balls and the tonic wine container all rained down on the Ton travelling support as their side claimed a surprise 2-2 draw in Govan. Writing in his programme notes for the match with Raith, he said: “Regrettably we were unable to hold onto our lead when Rangers equalised with five or six minutes of the match remaining. “It was still a wonderful day, one which I am sure will be fondly remembered for a long, long time. Our match with Rangers was the first match at Ibrox this season that Rangers did not win. “Regrettably, some Rangers fans were not at all pleased and resorted to pelting the Morton fans with coins, pies, Bovril, and even golf balls. “In addition, a Buckfast bottle was hurled into the Morton section which missed a young Morton fan by inches. That was a sad end to an exciting match.” Chief executive Gillian Donaldson confirmed the club had contacted Rangers and Police Scotland regarding the incidents in question. She told the Tele: “We were contacted by a couple of supporters regarding incidents that took place during the Rangers game. We followed them up with both Police Scotland, who are investigating the matter, and Rangers, who have advised that they are reviewing procedures. “We, as a club, have also offered any help and support we can to them regarding the incidents.”

  21. I was booked on a plane to leave Pretoria’s Jan Smutts Airport for London near midnight on 17 July 1949. Even as my suitcase sat in the hallway on the day of my departure with everything apparently cut and dried on my trial at Ibrox, there was another unexpected twist. Clyde’s representative, Roy Davies, came in very late and offered me £1,000 signing-on fee, a wage of £20 per week and a two-year contract. It was clearly a much better deal than the terms offered by Rangers, but I had given the club my word and accepted their offer so I could not possibly go back on that. I felt I had a duty to them since they had come along first and, as I said, none of this was really about the money for me. If I had been more money orientated, I would have taken the Clyde offer for sure. But, I was taken by all that I heard about Rangers and excited about the prospect of going there. My instincts were ultimately proven to be correct.

  23. From the Gallant Pioneers/Founders Trail guys. Over the last couple of years the Rangers Graves Restoration Project has carried out work on the final resting places of not only those who formed our Club but many others from our early years. This work will continue early in the new year. One individual has posed us a problem of sorts and that is our Founder Peter Campbell. Following in family tradition Peter ,who had been employed at the Barclay Curle Yard on the Clyde , left for a life at sea and joined a ship the St. Columba. On the 28th January 1883 the vessel left Penarth Port in South Wales with a cargo of coal destined for Bombay in India. Tragically, it ran into a storm in the Bay of Biscay and went down with all hands lost, including that of our 25 year old Founder Peter Campbell. The youngest of our Pioneers was taken from us. A few weeks ago we contacted Penarth Council about the possibility of having a memorial plaque placed at Penarth in memory of Peter Campbell highlighting his contribution in forming Rangers Football Club and his eventual fate. The Council were touched by his story and have since involved Penarth Civic Society . On Monday 14th December we were delighted to receive notification from their secretary that the proposal for the plaque had been agreed on. I’ve arranged to travel to Penarth next month to meet with the Civic Society and agree on a suitable location, The Penarth Pier Pavilion has been mentioned as a probability. The Cardiff RSC have been informed and will be involved in the project. We will of course post regular updates on all progress Peter Campbell. http://www.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/Peter-Campbell.html Donations to the Restoration Project can be made here. PAYPAL LINK. - https://www.paypal.com/sendmoney ***Follow the link and add following email address along with donation – sonsofstruth@aol.co.uk A Memorial to our Founder Peter Campbell. From The Gallant Pioneers 1872 by Gary Ralston. The message to the Registrar General of Shipping and Seamen in Cardiff , dated at 5.22pm, was blunt and to the point: 'Reliable information received here direct from Marennes stated some wreckage from steamer St Columba washed ashore near Marennes, Bay of Biscay . She left Penarth Dock, January 28, for Bombay' Tears were shed up and down the country for loved ones lost, particularly at Glasgow and Garelochhead as relatives and friends of Peter Campbell , one of the founders of Rangers , came to terms with his death. He was only 25 years old. The Peter Campbell Memorial is now on the Club website. http://rangers.co.uk/news/club/campb...laque-planned/
