  1. @BBCchrismclaug: 3 fans from #Rangers end arrested for sectarian singing during the win over Hibs. Also makes delegate's report as does use of flare. @BBCchrismclaug: Couple of quick points re earlier tweet. Info reported was offered to me by match delegate after the game. I checked with cops before tweet.
  2. I was referring to the 1st and 3rd sentances in the OP report. Rangers could be in trouble with the Scottish Professional Football League due to the behaviour of some of the club's fans during their win over Hibs. Three arrests were made after sectarian singing during Saturday's Scottish Challenge Cup tie at Easter Road Stadium. The match delegate's report will highlight the issue as well as the use of a flare.
  3. Heard the BB on TV, these guys don't care if the club is punished. It's not all about the Rangers to them.
  4. Utter madness to pay that amount for a Championship player that we can sign for hehaw in January.
  5. They did not mention the fact that the player had asked to leave!!!
  6. Now being reported that Allan has said he would walk 500 miles to join Rangers. I'll get my coat.
  7. Hibs are in a no win situation and have handled it wrong, see Stubb's comments re the player going to EPL next year.
  8. Player has asked to leave, game set and match to Rangers.
  9. Who is Stubbs kidding? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33636210 Scott Allan will have pick of clubs, says Hibs boss Alan Stubbs By Richard Wilson BBC Scotland Scottish Challenge Cup: Hibernian v Rangers Date: Saturday, 25 July Venue: Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh Kick-off: 12:30 BST Coverage: Watch on BBC Alba; listen on BBC Radio Scotland; video and audio streams available on BBC Sport website Manager Alan Stubbs has urged Scott Allan to bide his time with Hibernian then aim for England's Premier League. Hibs have rejected a £175,000 offer from Rangers for the 23-year-old midfielder, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract. "He'll have plenty of top offers come the end of the season," said Stubbs. "I fully believe he can play in the Premier League in England. That's how highly I rate him. He's got a year left to do well." Allan has already had a taste of England's top flight, having moved to West Brom from Dundee United in 2012. However, he did not make a single appearance for the Baggies, spending his two seasons south of the border on loan in the lower divisions. On returning to Scotland, Allan excelled for Hibs in the Championship last season and the Easter Road side are anxious to retain him for another bid at promotion, accepting that he will not sign a new deal.
  10. Guy playing for a Scottish Championsip side who is out of contract at the end of the season, would be madness to pay anything like £400K for him. We ca get home for hehaw at end of season or very little in January.
  11. From Edinburgh Evening News DAVID HARDIE 22:10Wednesday 22 July 2015 2 HAVE YOUR SAY Hibs have knocked back a bid from Rangers to lure prize asset Scott Allan to Ibrox, the Glasgow club’s offer so low it took the Easter Road board only seconds to deliver a resounding “No”. And, the Evening News understands, that will continue to be their position, even although they expect their Championship rivals to return with at least one more effort to tempt them to sell the midfielder. Although an approach from Rangers had been predicted, the News believes it wasn’t until the close of play last night that it finally came in the form of an email, barely three days before the clubs open the season as they meet in the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup. However, the nature of the offer was such it was said to have made chief executive Leeann Dempster and her fellow directors’ decision to turn it down very easy to make. Speculation surrounding the 23-year-old’s future has been rife all summer, with Celtic and Dundee United, Allan’s first club, also credited with an interest in last season’s Championship player of the year. Allan has enjoyed a new lease of life since making a surprise return to Scotland last summer, signing a two year deal with Hibs following a big money move down south, his switch to West Brom turning sour. Naturally, his form has attracted much attention, but throughout Allan himself has insisted he’s happy in Edinburgh, enjoying a revitalised career under Hibs head coach Alan Stubbs, while adamant he is intent on seeing out the final year of his contract by helping to guide the Capital side back to the Premiership. United came in with an offer in the region of £250,000 during the January transfer window in a bid to take Allan back to Tannadice following the sales of Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong to Celtic, a move which was rebuffed out of hand by Hibs, who remain as equally determined today to ensure he continues to wear a green-and-white shirt.

  21. It's a loan deal. I for one hope there is no truth in it, don't want him back at Ibrox ever.
  22. @NiallHickeySTV: Rangers have enquired to Everton about the availability of Steven Naismith. #EFC #RFC
