There's nothing obvious about it. Wilson is left footed and although a centre half maybe could play to a decent level at left back. I thought it was a typo but you never know.
-
You'd have Danny Wilson ahead of Lee Wallace at left back?

Neil Lennon: Not enough done to address 'Scotland's shame'

He must be due to get the *ahem* bullet soon. They're rank rotten. Before long he'll be back up here managing Partick Thistle or St Johnstone. -
He had to leave Feyenoord due to 'bad behaviour' apparently.

Totally agree Bearman. MW needs to sign someone who can drive the team on and just be an angry man. We're seriously lacking that kind of player.

RST received a very threatening & sectarian message on Facebook

What's this about and why are Celtic not getting hammered off every opposition fan in Scotland for it? -

He's said that to get the Motherwell fans behind him. That's all. He's had a shaky start and obviously feels the need to go fishing for support. -

He loved the attention, no doubt about it. The day he celebrated with MON in front of the Broomy confirmed it for me. -
Sorry if you thought I was being patronising, it was simply a suggestion. If nothing else, being a nosey basturt at a trial can be very interesting. Apologies. I also know that judgements and opinions of the police formed by members of the public can be genuine and honest after a bad experience having called the police but often people hate the police because they've been given a traffic ticket for being on their phone, or been caught urinating or because they lifted their mate for fighting outside the dancing. Not for one second do I think the police are blameless but it is my opinion that the COPFS are horrendous, especially the mob in the sherrifdom where I cover. Unorganised, lazy and under prepared doesn't come close. And Craig, like I said above, never once have I suggested, said or thought that the police are indefensible. I know how we work, I know how the Chief Constable operates and I know the corners that are sometimes cut BUT i also know the many good things done by the police that doesn't become public knowledge but we'll always be cunts to some people because we ruin their 'fun'. The fiscal doesn't charge anyone. A pet hate of mine is when people, usually drunks come up to me and say "I'm going to charge him for assault." No. You make the complaint and the police do the charging. And I can believe story you made reference to Mazza. It's amazing and often embarrassing the heights a Sergeant and Inspector will jump when senior management become involved.
-
If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend going to a trial (doesn't need to be a serious case) and listening to the evidence and how the Sheriff, or even JP come to their decisions. Baffling doesn't come close!

I didn't say give them lucrative contracts. It's not all about sell on value. If they add experience and improve the team then I'm all for it. I don't know any players but that's why we've got a scouting system in place, to unearth players like this.
-
Correct. But there's other players out there over 30 who would cost a fraction what SD would and be just as instrumental as him.

I'm still waiting for Ian's 'welcome back Gav' post. Think I might be waiting a while. [emoji850][emoji6]

He's sending lots of love to everyone! [emoji182][emoji173]️

I'm not getting into a debate about the police but what I will say is that I have absolutely zero confidence in the crown office procurator fiscal service.
-
That doesn't matter. MW spoke of bringing value and experience to the squad. Sell on value is important obviously but he'd happily take the off more experienced player too.
-
Not for me. Each to their own I suppose.

If my brother was a thug/nutter/clown, going on a night out with him would be the last thing I'd do. Thugs/nutters/clowns with alcohol in them are even bigger thugs/nutters/clowns.
-
Doubt it ever will. When people (mostly Celtic minded) don't listen to the facts then you're pissing against the wind.
-
Perhaps I'm basing my opinion in the area I work, the type of people I deal with on a daily basis and the crimes they regularly commit. A hunch based on previous experiences.
-
Whatever tickles your fancy.
-
I stated what I meant by it earlier in the thread.
-
Yeah I've considered it, thought about it and decided he probably did. Just a hunch of mine, no more.
-
Where did I say that? I've read over my initial post in this thread and can't see where I said he was lifted because his brother had a knife. If you're hanging about with someone who is carrying a knife then expect some attention from the police. Mind you, it sounds like he was bringing all the attention on himself. He was lifted because he was causing a BOP. Silly boy.
-
Haha. Seriously? That's like saying all white people should be arrested because Nicky Clark's brother was lifted for having a knife in a public place. C'mon Ian. He's getting bad press because he was with his brother who was carrying a knife. That and the face he plays for Rangers. You fart in public and you're the back page headline!
