Rangers Put Stewart Robertson Up For A Place On SPFL Board
aweebluesoandso replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Budge and Robertson fail to get elected on to the SPFL BOARD. Quelle surprise, corrupt to the core. -
I agree this guy knows what he's doing, relax and enjoy. When's the last time we've heard that?

We just need to keep knocking on the door, if that doesn't work start shouting agenda, sectarianism and bigotry. It has worked spectacularly for the oppressed. -
Excellent piece of counter-ntellegence imo. I wonder who Mother was?

Sounds like a good idea, so long as the club doesn't force it's position on the group. plus all voting is independant and decsisions will be accepted by the club. BTW hello from sunny Madeira.

I have a pal like you, miserable as sin, Rangers man as well. I go out my way to avoid him, everything about Rangers is negative for him. too, I was in the Louden Dennistoun and the barmaid passed me a lager and said it was from my pal. I said what pal, she said him the bald yin wae the moustache, you went to Thompson ST (primary) School with him, I said i never went to school with anyone who was bald and had a moustache. He's a Lonely guy lol. -

You call the supporters groups attacking the lies constantly peddle in the media, as nonsense. But you want to attack the agenda by the fans groups, how can you ignore one but not the other? -

I take your point, but taking on the lies in the media is hardly nonsense. -

I have some sympathy with that view , like i have said in my previous post a lot of agenda and Jockeying for postilion did go on. No one comes away without criticism, also those same organisation, Union Of Fans, SOS, RF, RST did some good things as well. I'm a member of the RST. I only joined them two season ago because despite their allegiances to various board's they did generally fight the fans corner especially against our many enemies in the mhedia and across the city. -

A lot of that was down to Misdirection, agenda, misinformation that was given to the fans. Some fans forums and fan groups had their own agenda and pushed their preferred candidate. Depending what forum you were on, your view was generally focused on their favourite and his ideas. Off course we had our own opinions, take Gunslinger, he was anti Green before most, but his voice was lost in the clamour of most everyone else saying Green was the new messiah, myself included. -

A Fans rep should know the details of contracts, like any board member. If we had known what Green was giving away to Ashley, in the onerous contracts, maybe the wouldn't have happened. However that's not to say a fans reps would or should come out and give the support chapter and verse, on negotiations and details. But a simple statement saying this deal is a good one or this deal isn't so good "in our opinion" for the club. A huge burden for the fans rep, but trust and faith is paramount though. -

I'm a member of the RST and haven't heard anything official, however i hope there is someone in an unofficial capacity filling the roll Chris Graham was doing, fan representative. -

With Rangers First and the RST i think we have the two vehicles who can to demand transparency, We the support are getting stronger with every share bought, I'm not a militant, but at the same time i won't be pushed around. the supporters have served their time, we were loyal when others f@cked off, we fought the good fight and continue to do so. In King Murray Park and the 3Bears, there's a realisation without the the body of the support, nothing can be achieved, we just need the brethren within those group with a big set of Cojones to demand our just rewards. Getting the various factions within the support to call a truce, is going to take longer. -

STV running with a non story, whilst the largest fraud ever against Dumbartonshire/Glasgow rate and tax payer s is going untold. The Great Lennoxtown Swindle is a disgraceful tale of corruption the Mhedia ignore. Yet people say there is no agenda in the Scottish media. -

Agenda driven imo. As to what the ruling from lord Docherty meant, i'm afraid i failed their Bar test, strange that cause i spent a lot of time at bars lol -
Copy and pasted from another forum, this Bear reporting he got his old seat back. "My mate was lucky he got someone on the phone who did do it for him. When I phoned I got told NO. Accepted it, fuming though, and drove over. A matter of 5 minutes later I had my old seat back. Yes I only stay 15 mins along the road so it was not a great hassle and did it on my day off so other than a bit of time and fuel I got what I wanted. My old seat, sitting next to mates and others I sat beside for years. I'm happy and I know going there is not always practical for others but mates or family could help you out maybe."
