Another stupidity with the split is on a few occassions some teams have ended up having to travel to some away grounds 3 times while only playing that team once at home. They cant even get the balance right!!

The split is pointless at the moment as nothing comes of it. Dundee were gone before the split this season. If it were 2 teams going down it would be great games this season as there is nothing between the next 5 teams. The crowds at the games last weeked between the bottom 6 were even more awful than they had been all season as there is nothing to play for, had they been fighting to avoid the 2nd relegation spot there could have been double the attendances. Its all to do with the number relegation places which create more competitiveness and interest.

Im against fast tracking. It saves the asses of the clubs that voted us out yet it could kill off the teams in the lower leagues who dont get a chance to play us next season. Every team in Div 3 has been a breath of fresh air for me in welcoming us to the league, why should we avoid Div2 teams next season to save Aberdeen, Dundee utd and the likes. Current Div 3 teams now have financial edge over Div 2 and possibly some Div 1 clubs now having had bumper pay days, thats unfair. A proper restructure, clubs running within their means and getting rid of crooks like Doncaster and Regan will save Scottish football. But agree on Novo part, would be a good addition.

It doesnt matter if it is 16-10-16 or 14-14-14 or 12-12-18. What is needed is interest and competition. Firstly the 2 things that must happen are 1 overseeing body running the game and the restructure back to 3 leagues. Having 4 is just a joke and has killed the SFL IMO until Rangers got there. Lets take the 12-12-18. To generate interest and competition that means a 2 up / 2 down and a play off for a 3rd place. The interest has to be taken from 3rd place in the SPL downwards. Once we are back in the top flight the league is a 2 way break away anyway between the OF and that race takes care of itself. Let the others battle out the Euro places and relegation. In the lower 2 divisions Div1 will be interesting as there will be a at least 5 clubs going for 3 promotion spots (1 via the play off) and the relegation battle will be the same as SPL. In the lowest div (say 18 teams) you create a English Championship style league where the top 2 go up and the next 4 places battle it out for the final play off spot versus the 3rd bottom side in the middle tier. That keeps interest going for most of the 18 teams. The bottom 1 or 2 teams of this league has a play off against a junior side to keep their place in the SFL.

Just wonder if the team can put on a deserving show. It is well overdue!!!

Id like to see an all German final. Would probably be the first top good game the new Wembley has had. I think it would be a terrific spectacle seeing around 70000 Germans there (20000 tickets for fat cats no doubt).

Rab is right, their reconstruction can never happen without a TV deal which includes Rangers and OF matches. They are trying to sneak a way around it. And agreed, agenda No.2 is to gain control of more then half the 42 clubs. They didnt give a monkeys about the SFL when Rangers werent a member. I have always been a fan of trying 16, 18 or even 20 team top flight but I dont think the numbers is the problem. Aside from those running the game (they are the main problem) the problem isnt 10 or 12 teams in the SPL. The problem is the bordom of repetitiveness. 1 up 1 down is the problem. That way you are playing the same teams every year. The league is over by March. 12-12-18 would work if the SPL had 2 auto relegation places with a play off for a 3rd spot then it makes it far more interesting from the middle half of the league downwards. Div1 will also be more competitive as there is 2 auto places and then the 3rd side gets a play off. - now that is in the interest of ALL teams, sharing the wealth and good for fans but these chairmen wont go for it as they would sense the fear of relegation! Once common sense and doing things FOR the game comes back into it then they will never get an agreement. All they are looking for is guaranteed income and embarrassingly from the club they voted out the league.

Barrie McKay would have been a shout had he kept playing in his favoured role and then not got injured. We have some promising youngsters who need a proven coach who can take them onto the next level. Templeton has shown flashes of what he can do but over the season I cant put him in the top 2 or 3. I have to give POTY to Andy Little. We all new Wallace and McCulloch were capable of playing at this level, but Little was a fringe player previously and has stepped up to the mark and banged in some cracking goals this season and he'll take some shifting from the first team. Despite playing badly due to tactics and coaching all the players deserve a mention for being prepared to get the club through the season.

So 12-12-18 can still go through but scrap the split and change it to play offs. On his talksport interview it was more the split he was opposed against. Therefore no change in structure at all in the SPL but SPL 2 will be formed making the SPL out weigh the SFL with 24 clubs to 18. They will still then be relying on a TV deal that includes Rangers games...

Nothing to lose, no brainer for me. Considering we signed Sandaza and Kevin Kyle Novo is a different level of player to them. Would take Novo over Miller.

Once again by far the most interesting league. Teams from mid table can still go down and up until last week top 10 could still go up. Blackburn probably secured safety last night beating Millwall, pity as they are shockingly ran. Wolves could be on their way down.

But in the SPL he was arguably our best defender. Wages aside Id take him back.
