  1. TBH i thought he was our best player today. He was the only one who a) wanted the ball and b) had a go at them.
  2. Scottish greats from my time who Id buy back - Cooper, Dalglish, McLeish, Miller, Leighton, Goram, Gemmill, McCoist, Lambert, Gough, Durrant, Ferguson.....etc...does Boyd deserve to be near any of them?? not a chance! Boyd is a donkey.
  3. Garbage. If Arsenal had everyone fit for the last 3 years they would be on 3 in a row. Terry, Fat Frank and a few others got injured and chelsea got found out. Im really enjoying seeing chelsea struggle. Their sub bench against Arsenal was great! Bolton will probably finish 5th
  4. Seeing John Terrys face was brilliant at 3-3. Glad to see Chelsea being shown up. On the BBC predictor i had them 11 points behind man utd by now and my mate said i was nuts...not too far off!
  5. As a anti-barry ferguson person (2nd spell) I cant believe how much he would walk into the midfield due to talent these days. McCulloch was found out today - he is a fraud. Young Hutton is by far the best midfielder we have and should be playing
  6. ^ agreed Mike, the centre midfield is so short since Thomson left and made up of Lee "i play anywhere" Mcculloch and Davis who is better on the right. Still wouldnt have Boyd back. If we were resulting 0-0 every week this season then there might be an argument for it but its a no brainer that we are better without him.
  7. He makes Webster look like he has been a success. Darren Anderton played more for Spurs
  8. What a limited manager he is. 5 good mins at Ipswich and 9 good games at Hearts....the rest is just a shambles
  9. And the Appy Ammers are out of the bottom 3 although its still papering over the cracks coz Avram Grant is still not manager material.
  10. U mean Want?? Heh sorry chief, I never correct folks spelling as Im probably top of the league on here for that but after a few beers it needs to be done. 1 more and Im hitting the town.
  11. Ive no fear for this signing at all. Ljungberg was quality for Arsenal in a top notch side but was finished when he was 29/30. He went to West Ham and I watched nearly all the games he played and he was a fraction of what he was at Arsenal. He isnt a play maker and will rely on their other dumplings setting him up playing 1 touch fast stuff which Celtic cant do.
  12. He would be a starter for me in a free role. If Naismith is injured then good chance for Weiss to play right wing where he is better.
  13. I have a grip, I have watched Rangers this season and enjoyed it from Day 1 in Pre Season Australia when we played 4-3-3 against Blackburn and played them off the park until the last OF game 2nd half etc....away at Pittodrie earlier this season we hit them on the break with cracking goals which Boyd would still have been crossing the half way line. We have more goals and better play due to the boy with sand in his shoes departing! It was good riddance in the summer for me!!. I wanted Novo to stay but we arent even missing him bar squad numbers
  14. Id honestly prefer we take Velicka back from Aberdeen that resign Boyd and I dont think Velicka can kick a ball anymore.
  15. Head says 2-0 Rangers, heart says 3-0. They have an absolute rank defence plus upfront they couldnt get past Dundee Utd, Inverness and Killie and home so if we perform it could be a stroll.

    Game Off!!!

Unbelievable, I was planning on going down tomorrow.
  17. Absolutely agree! From a Rangers point of view.
  18. Read the report on the BBC then look at the teams. Without doubt the worst celtic team since early 90s when they almost went bust. Didnt even recognise half the names. Cant wait for the NY OF derby, WS gets a strong side out and we should pump them.
  19. Wasnt sure to put this in this thread or the "we cant buy anyone thread". If we got all our injured players back (and they all cant be far away) then things dont seem to doom and gloom, of course unless we start to pick up more injuries - Webster is a banker anyway. The players have had the best part of 3 weeks without playing which is a good chance to recharge some batteries for the mass fixture pile up in the 2nd half of the season. But if players like Hutton, Wylde, Fleck, Ness, Little, Kerkar, Weiss all get more games and perform well then its all good. At the moment Hutton would be in my starting XI and id like to see Fleck and Kerkar get on more. Weiss has ability but seems to be thinking elsewhere and he hasnt played on the right where he should. Jelavic is 1-2 weeks away from returning meaning we have him, Miller, Lafferty and Beattie available upfront. Throw in Fleck, Naismith and Weiss to play attacking roles and our forward options are fine. Centre midfield is still where Im concerned, I wasnt a big Kevin Thomson fan but when he was sold I knew the numbers went down to low. Hutton looks a player though. Centre half is light also but if Webster can make himself available it would be a help. The "limited" Broadfoot has embarrassed Webster this season with good performances and the fact I found astounding was Weir has missed less games than Webster has played for Rangers in the last 3 years.
  20. Based on their last 3 home games they are welcome to play the rest of their season at Parkhead (Dundee Utd draw, Caley Draw, Killie Draw)
  21. Im pissed off because I backed Killie at 6/1 and they were 5 mins away from winning. Killie have been good away of late and Celtic have been shite at home drawing with Dundee Utd, Inverness and getting torn apart by us in the 2nd half in the last OF game so I had a flutter on Killie.
  22. Cant recall so many top flight games being called off when the old orange balls were still used. Normally it would be a white pitch with the lines being cleared and the orange ball would be used.
  23. I like WS approach here reminding them about 2 years ago but at the same time an extension would benefit us. But the difference here is we wouldnt be the only team with fixture pile up so make them get on with it.
  24. Crikey the fixture pile up after New Year is going to be mental.
