Ive never had a response either and 1 of my emails was actually agreeing with him on a few political issues following his speech to the US senate about the Iraq invasion, but he probably didnt respond due to my previous mails which were totally disagreeing with him with valid points debunking the subject.

TBH since WS came back the OF games have been much better and we have competed again as for a few years we were going to parkhead and not getting a sniff at goal.

Ouch...if Boyd doesnt start on Saturday I'll be scared of SAlly, Jonc and Johnnyk's reactions But surely he will play him, we shouldnt change to a 4-5-1 for this game, we are capable if winning it with 4-4-2.

Agreed with MF that this is a way of Burley trying to rescue the situation and he is using Butcher. I do wish Butcher would buggar off from the job aswell, I dont think he is near the right assistant. Boyd did walk away in a huff and you can understand his frustration though, but we dont know what his attitude was like in the camp that week - he was maybe joking around and having a laugh while Fletcher and Iwelmo were giving it 200%. What Boyd should have done was walk away without quitting the set up and just do what he is doing now! He could then have returned to the Scotland fold and did it in the dark blue aswell. I dont buy this comment about Rangers over Scotland though. That opportunity never poses itself unless 1) They played each other or 2) they played a match on the same. Its more a case of whether one follows the national team also or not. For me I do - but im the opposite of most, I used to not bother about them so much but have grown to it.

Huge point! And an important one. Just shows the Big brother state if people can be arrested on opinions. And these opinions are 1 way. We do have to remember some policemen wont agree with this but will have to do it as the orders are coming from above them. We are offended by pro IRA chants - why cant they be arrested?! IRA chants v Hokey Cokey - you couldnt make it up!

No i didnt think you were all for the signing of wilkie, i was just suggesting why WS couldnt think about moving an experienced former Marseille captain (who IS still being paid) to that position ahead of signing a donkey.

Great post there. Couldnt agree more and have said such things for a while in the bluenose lounge about Politics. Its amazing that this type of society is being enforced in every way of life, but if it takes football to wake people up then thats a good thing.

Well Liverpool remain top for Christmas after Chelsea drew again. Unbelievably Arsenal are still in the title hunt again aswell but have a lot of work to do! Man Utd could have asked for a better weekend, thats 2 in a row where only Villa from the top 5 pick up points (despite Man U not playing). If 1 of these teams can win 3 in a row they could see themselves open up a gap. If i was a betting man id be backing Man Utd for 3 in a row!

Was going to add I bet there are plenty (Gers fans included) who dont want him to do a U-turn. But I want him to bang goals in for club and country and hope he does!

BOTH should do U-turns and do what is best for Scotland!! Not so sure if Scotland are better with a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1 but if its 4-4-2 then Boy and Miller have to be given a chance to do what they are doing for Rangers. At the time of this Boyd was playing poor but id still have brought him on ahead of Fletcher and that Chris Oompaloopa boy. It wasnt the right game to give both them a debut. If Boyd comes back it will earn him a lot of respect.

Which is actually quite weird considering Glasgow is in queens country and the IRA were responsible for murders in the UK. Surely her majesty could pull a few strings!! If the OF were ever to go to the Premier League down south then I think it would swing and they would finally have there bouff stopped. -

Yeah mate go for it, I always put the OF one up a wee bit earlier. Obviously Xmas day is Thursday so a lot of people may not be on here. Team news isnt much of a problem anyway, we know Bougherra and Miller are carrying knocks but thats about it, and both are expected to make it.

Good read Cammy, Now Balde is 1 player ive always thought as an animal but id take him over lee Wilkie any day of the week. Personally I cant see him signing for us for many a reason and this includes his 30k a week wage which we couldnt offer half that. If we were offered 5 million for Thomson it would be hard to turn down and i dont think it would be disasterous. I wouldnt take anything less for him though. Boyd: Agree-ish RE Boyd, Ive been his no.1 critic over the years for his all round play, but he is coming onto a game since the Burley thing. But this will count for nothing unless he does it until the end of the season and we are league champs. OF Game: Agreed, we should get stuck right into them and make home advantage count. Boruc HAS to be a target and your right when we should hit shots from all over the place - he is a terrible shot stopper. Id personally fit Novo into the team, he has an awesome record against Celtic. Hopefully Miller gets a good week to regain full fitness. But team predictions can wait for SAlly's match preview in the coming days. Celtic are like a house of cards with Wee Tink, Strachan, boruc and the fans - a 100 mph performance by us could see another hiding for them
