  1. Are we aspiring to be Gretna? If we drop anything near double figures of points this coming season it will be a disgrace. The messiah is in his 3rd year, years of back up to Walter before that and has no excuse about preparation or lack of players this time. We really should go through this with one or two draws max.
  2. Nicky Clark's patronising pish needs to be treated with the contempt it deserves. We should scoosh this league without defeat, hardly drop a point and have it done by valentine's. His guff sounds a bit like McCoist warning the support not to expect a vast improvement in our performances this season.
  3. Many lapped it up from Whyte and then from Green. Tell the people what they want to hear and you get a free hand to rape and pillage. And he did go the usual ott when playing to the audience. Time will indeed tell if the latest in the line is any different. If he really put in £1m and his pal Chuck has 8% for a mere £50k it could be interesting though.
  4. In defence we leaked like a sieve with a back 4 and 2 holding mids, occasionally a back 5 - against 1 part timer up top. Being the might of Stirling and Annan at that! If we go with a back 3, may the Lord help us.
  5. I am pretty sure forlans is a tranny, so no problem either way:flash:
  6. It certainly was, my apologies. I quoted Frankie and asked the question but never paid enough attention to who replied. My bad. Anyway, nice to have it confirmed that Bell is cheaper than Alexander. Maybe he never got a signing on fee to add to his fat 3rd tier salary either.
  7. Green never had to cosy up to Whyte, he was brought in by Whyte. A 'wrongun' if ever there was one but in perfect company. "I only met the man once and gave him 2 quid for his shares" indeed. So how could Green have gotten ahead of the game when he never had conversations with Whyte? © Chucky. But in fairness to Green, he could not have told the truth that he was Whyte's stooge. Brought in only so that Grier could present Rangers FC back to Whyte, gift wrapped on a silver platter and that every word he uttered from day 1 was a lie. I am just not sure yet if it is lucky for us that the thieves fell out and the stooge got greedy and made an arse of it. Time will tell I suppose.
  8. Just wondered when you said he was cheaper.
  9. Fair enough, it is all about opinions. I think he is a very poor keeper all round. Occasionally does okay on shot stopping but does not command his area and his positioning is poor and often costly. The only thing I can say that must help him is that his distribution is so poor it is certainly on Rangers level in that department. I am also sure we could get better value for money from the lower leagues. Cammy Bell, imo, will not be our keeper when we are back in the top dividion.
  10. Monthly deductions from your salary has nothing to do with when your company pays the revenue.
  11. So he was always going to be a Rangers keeper and that means it cannot be a terrible signing? Okay.
  12. Terrible signing but much expected, given the lack of scouting and imagination by the Ibrox 'jobs for the boys' network.
  13. The "away" corner is sold out. App 1/3 away fans and then segregated for bears using the rest.
  14. He charged himself a penny a pop for them, he will sell his 8% shareholding for a monumental wedge. He has now got the get out clause he wanted all along I fear, won't have to wait the 12 months. Cha-ching for Chucky.
  15. Don't think so. I would imagine the last thing he wants to do is pay anybody anything. It is extremely unlikely Whyte is anything like broke, just because he is facing bankruptcy in the UK. He won't give a shit about that, there are many very wealthy people who have been declared bankrupt. In all probability, he has simply moved his money abroad, out of the reach of any creditors and avoiding any liabilities.
  16. I am delighted to say I whole-heartedly agree with simplythebest, who would've thunk it
  17. Fair enough. We can simply agree that all data protection protocols were ditched, the illegal use of 'oldco' customer details were used to try and wrongly obtain money from 1000's of people by Charles Green's Rangers [© Charles Green], but it was all a conspiracy instigated by his staff. End of, indeed, I can live with that.
  18. No, you simply stated that in no way on earth it was the head honcho, it was his staff. Not that you could have proof of that of course. So who was it, just someone down the rungs a bit? And the buck never stops. Yet you talk about arrogance. You should maybe stick to your conspiracy theories. One day there will be one with Green.
  19. Ah okay, No one was instructed to do it, it was purely an error by the plebs. Another coincidence and conspiracy. Good lord they are mounting up.
  20. Oh, things were going very well long before we got the sfa go ahead. But that was when Green illegally sanctioned the use of "oldco's" dd mandates and wrongly tried to lift ST renewal money out of punters accounts for one of his "newco" accounts. Don't think it was his mum's one though. It kind of went downhill a bit after that minor faux pas was pointed out. Not sure how Green managed to breach data confidentiality to get folks bank details though, but maybe his pal Whyte gave it to him. They had been long time partners by then. No, I was simply going by the figures I was told when I spoke to a couple of nice folk in the ticket office when renewing nearly all the ST's in our rsc.
  21. Eh? Nothing to do with this weeks stuff, as you say, or the dirge we have watched all season. Nor any future painful struggles on the park - Green will be gone by that time. Green is only here because McCoist sanctioned the ST sales, otherwise he was dead in his tracks before he had moved. Hence the arse licking of Ally this last couple of days. If the next episode Green has to respond to does not satisfy McCoist, he may well do something about it. And lets face it, Green has admitted lying through his teeth and has only reacted because he was found out. Not everyone believes the quantum leap from "We met Whyte once and gave him 2 quid for his shares" to "We were in bed with him many times from day 1, but only to get what we wanted - yes he gave us cash but we never asked for it nor wanted it." That is ignoring Green to Whyte, "you are sevco" btw. McCoist's post match interview today and 2 lines stuck on the end of yesterday's pathetic club statement suggest McCoist is not exactly over the moon just now. So I await the next instalment of Green justification (reactive again, not proactive) whilst being very happy that McCoist is in situ. Even allowing for the fact I think he is a terrible manager. But he cares about our club and is as big a bluenose as anyone I know. Thankfully.
  22. I am one of McCoist's (managerial bit) biggest critics but I am certain he will outlive Green at our club. McCoist can end Green's time at Rangers tomorrow if he so wishes, And for all his failings as a manger I have seen so far, I am delighted he is in position and has that power.
  23. We've got nothing to fear...but fear itself? Not pain, not failure, not fatal tragedy? Not the faulty units in this mad machinery? Not the broken contacts in emotional chemistry? And the things that we fear are a weapon to be held against us... Neil Peart
