  1. kent never stopped and had a hand in 2 of the goals.
  2. Absolutely brilliant. Both the clip and being able to embed a tweet at our age
  3. strongest team in both games please. Anyone know what that is?
  4. lot's of subs when we were seeing the game out.
  5. worth noting you sign up to the initial £500 then ongoing investment. in theory in 26 months time there could be millions being raised for the club a year.
  6. I signed up to it i did so as i believe fan ownership is vital up to a certain point. The same reason I backed the RST all those years ago. We nearly lost Ibrox not so long ago. It's money I can afford and if rangers have a share issue i can match it with them. No question Club 1872 has a lot of work to do to improve governance.
  7. we play some sublime football.
  8. Yeah agree on that too. But it appears to be where we are.
  9. I agree and on that basis say that this is worth a look. The main issue is the Club 1872 governance. IF i put my 500 into Club 1872 the football club aren't losing out.
  10. members get a vote on the use of that money.
  11. Club 1872 have chosen their option. I am saying the club need to offer an alternative if they want the cash instead. I agree they have chosen the wrong option. I agree with all you say. I just point out it's currently irrelevant for me.
  12. then what are the chances of the opportunity arising in the future..... my belief is it's all been about only giving shares to the "right people" for years now. That may change or we may be sitting here in 5 years going wish i hadn't kept my money for a share issue that didn't happen.
  13. if the club wants the cash it needs to offer an option for that. the only choice right now is take over Dave Kings holding or not. Talk of putting the money into the club is while correct currently pointless.
  14. probably just about deserved in the end. If nothing else for the quality of the winning goal.
  15. fair to say we have got away with murder here so far. need to be a hell of a lot better second half.
  16. what was the reason last year?
  17. Perhaps i am wrong about the desire for cash from other sources. I just don't see it and no one is saying anything to convince me it exists. I agree it would be the way to go.
  18. to me it seems they want the burden and the shares that go with it. i see no sign of public offering. Or indeed wider offering to existing shareholders.
  19. I think we do know Club 1872 have offered loans and been refused though that was a while back IIRC. We also know that the public have been excluded from these share issues. My understanding was that Club 1872 haven't been allowed to maintain their stock holding. Perhaps we can agree that current investment seems to be a closed shop for a select few?
  20. The fact they have never asked or offered the opportunity. Quite the opposite in fact. those funds are already committed.
  21. The club has to become self sustainable regardless. Whether that means CL money, Player sales or Cutting our cloth accordingly. Or the more reasonable combination of these. Is it desirable to have grass roots fans own a sizable percentage of the club. YES Would it be best if that was achieved with investment directly to the club. YES Is that an option. Doesn't seem so. Do the club require the funds to remain operational. We are told No. IS this all typically disappointing........
  22. and those shares died with whyte mine included. I am not having a go at the RST merely pointing out that solely buying shares at share issues has it's own perils.
  23. Away game coverage is ok.
