We seem to be really going for it at youth level. Good to see.

If we have learned anything from Jan it should be not to judge these things too early. We can always forward an opinion though I suppose.

We were able to move really fast when we sold Patterson with a player coming in bang in the correct mould. Let's hope the same is true with any departures here.

Our issue is probably wages. we will have a budget for outgoings and we must be right at it given the maturity of the squad.

Morelos and indeed kent are cracking players but they do not score enough goals to be irreplaceable. There are other sides to the game of course and each has real talents in those.

When Patterson was sold we moved quickly for his replacement. I do hope we have players lined up to cover any sales. We still need a RW at a bare starting minumum beyond that.

Any money we have should be spent on certain starters in key positions. Taking McGregor as an example. we could sign a Zander Clark or Siegrist and have a poorer free option as back up. We could spend millions that would be a waste. we could move McGregor to back up seems obvious to me. We certainly don't spend millions. Always assuming we aren't happy just to have McCrorie as back up which is also probably fine.

I just think a full season somewhere is going to be more productive than the bench at rangers. Was for McGregor.

i would give McGregor another year as back up pushing for umber 1 and get McCrorie out for a really good loan where he will be first choice. Aberdeen perhaps.

my guess is he asked to leave the camp early, not like he is first choice.

Really liked the big lad. Great player for us and very likeable.
