We did say this Bill both of us. Gio also used him sparingly to our detriment I would say. In Jan when I everyone wanted him punted I was pointing out he had been one of if not our best player in every game since September. It was pointed out he was pish V Dundee UTD in December which was true.

From September he was almost exclusively a top performer when he played. That only really leaves August for being poor but hey ho. He did have a bad game v Dundee Utd but was hardly alone there.

i forget the exact numbers but we needed 7-9 million to cover shortfall last year. We took in 2 or 3 times that. Patterson - 10 mil Gerrard - 4mil Europe - 16 mil. Share issues 1 mil I would say shortfall is covered for this year and last. That's why i say we could reinvest the lot. Of course you don't get 25 million from selling a player for 25 million. Player and tax man gets a cut in certain circumstances etc. Hard to be sure on any of this of course and we may be looking to assume low European income and cover the shortfall that would cause. I do think EL groups is lowest we can achive though isn't it?

Hard to say but Goldson is just stating the obvious as i say. I asked before when was the last time we won from 3 nil down? I can only remember one team doing it in 90 mins world wide in my life though (Man Utd v Spurs) i am sure it happens a few times a season worldwide. We got a draw v Hibs from 3 down in a meaningless game certainly.

What he said was literally true. He didn't say it at half time he didn't say we didn't try. He stated there was no way back after we found no way back. He stated we can't let ourselves get that far behind. Rather stating the obvious wasn't he.
