Totally different types of player thought Lewis was excellent as well yesterday, yes he played some stray passes but didn't let it get him down just got stuck in to win the ball back. You need the likes of Lewis to win the ball and let Barrie do his stuff.

Davie Cooper what can you say when he was good he was breathtaking, but you could also argue that the word enigma was invented for him because he could be absolutely howling as well. So the best way to tell you about him is that he would never pass you in the street or pub when you put out your hand and wanted to talk Rangers, he loved the club with all his heart and never spoke or did anything which would bring the name of Rangers into disrepute. Don't know how it would work, but you could go down the road of America where the young player is contracted to the League and the club pays his wages. Therefore any dealings have to go through the League first.

The other team will put in a low offer to unsettle the lad, contact his agent with promises of untold fortunes nobody will agree but the lad will want away. Job done by the EPL side they then sit and wait till the last 6 months of his contract get him on a Pre-contract and it goes to the tribunal to decide a compensation. Which will be very low for McKay.

Does it really matter what contract he is on, if the big EPL come a calling with their fat wallets it's hard for the young lads to turn them down. I hope he stays for a few years more but I won't get all bothered if he doesn't, would rather have somebody who wants to play for Rangers than somebody who wants away at the first chance they get.
