  1. Northern Ireland internationalist,I believe turned down an offer from the republic to play for them.

    ,

My Twitter TL is arguing about which international team he turned down first, whether he's a rebel, which position he plays and whether he's coming to Ibrox or not!

All I know is that he's a decent NI player.

  2. Isn't this exactly the sort of arrangement that the SFA's dual influence rules were designed to prevent?

I'd be amazed if this doesn't result in further investigation and the threat of sanctions.

Did those rules exist back in mad Vlad's time at Hearts? If so, it didn't stop them from fielding half a team of on loan players from Kaunas.

  3. How does he look now?

Do you think we should insist that, if he is found guilty, he should be divested of any league and cup honours he may have won while investing in these 'tax avoidance schemes' ?

    He looks like a hypocrite.

However, I don't believe that Celtic FC been directly linked to this issue, however entertaining that would be.

My understanding is that it's a personal matter for Mr Lennon and his conscience.

  4. It's great in the sense that Bears who might not have voted for whatever reason will now have their shares being used to vote at the EGM, but I sincerely hope that the EGM voting isn't so tight that 100k or 200K shares will tip the balance because that's way too close for comfort!

Although winning it by 100k would be so sweet, as it would mean that the Board's contempt for the supporters had driven previously passive Bears into action and cost them their blazers.

  5. No I am not advocating another large whip round Craig , just that there was an amount left over and it was to see what the general feeling was , nothing more mate , just a tidying up so to speak lol

    The realistic options are:

    1. Buy one more BR community share @£125 and make a small donation to RF, which would create an imbalance in the totals donated to each scheme.

    2. Make a small donation to BR and a larger donation to RF to balance the overall funds donated per scheme.

No. 2 feels like the more harmonious option to me, but happy to listen to other opinions. I'm not expecting another influx of cash, but if it happens then other options (like a second RF life membership) could develop.

  6. RF is set up to endorse the same so-called 'dignified silence' that has been so damaging to the club.

Has nothing been learned from the embarrasing silence of Rangers on serious issues over the years and decades?

I support the RST's activist stance. Indeed I prefer it to RF's "non political" approach, although I'm a member of both.

However, by offering different propositions, the two groups engage a broader constituency than either would be able to do in isolation.

Surely that's a good thing for fan ownership?

  7. Llambias: .................It would appear as if it is 'was a director' of Keith Bishop Public Relations Ltd.(KBPR) See the annoucement to LSE http://rangers.g3dhosting.com/regulatory_news_article/411

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The invoice is from Keith Bishop Associates (KBA).

However the two are obviously linked.

The website address of KBA is http://www.kbapr.com

The contact e-mail address on KBA website is info@kbapr.com

Thanks mate. I deleted that part of my post when I realised my mistake.

    Useful extra info though. Cheers.

  8. Not new, but another example of their ruses to suck cash out of the Club into their own pockets,

SoS also claiming that £500k commission was paid to Dubai in relation to the £2m stadium Wi-Fi deal.

  9. It's a waste of time and money. No rangers fan will be convinced by it. Any neutral will take the ruling bodys decision and anyone partisan to rangers will already be saying it.

    It is indeed GS.

The only people squirming in their armchairs whilst reading it will be the mainstream Celtic supporters who regularly read the Sunday Herald anyway.

The only emotions it stirs in me are mirth and pity.

  10. We are going to be skint for years, no matter who sits on the Board.

I hope the good guys know what is to be done after the General Meeting.

Well, we'll hopefully be debt free and many of the really important changes which need to be made shouldn't cost a fortune, but will depend on ensuring we've got the right calibre of people in key positions (e.g. a Director of Football to set a clear strategy for the football dept).

But, yes, I'm sure it's going to take a while to deal with all the debris they'll find at the top of the marble staircase.
