Did he say that? EBT's were nothing to do with bonuses -

The SFA/SPL had their chance & blew it. They should have waited til the BTC concluded -

The SFA/SPL commissioned LNS to determine whether the EBT's were undisclosed contractual payments which were unfair. 'No sporting advantage' was his verdict. HMRC'S pursuit of the MIH EBT scheme was as regards to tax liabilities on it. Two completely separate issues -

FWIW I don't think we've heard the last of this morning's totally bizarre judgement by there three clowns. Have they been got at by politicians ? Lord Carloway is Reid's pal isn't he? -

The law is an ass. How can the CoS seriously over-rule previous judgements ? What new evidence was presented ? What was missed from previous judgements ? Can these three bewigged buffoons tells us where the previous judgments(FTTT & UTTT) were wrong? Or is today's judgement more to do with drawing a line under all of this to prevent the truth coming out who was behind all of this knowing RIFC 2012(i.e. BDO) not pursuing this further? -
I see our chums at the Daily Rhebel at back to calling us a new club again. Either the pseudo-journalist is daft(which may be a distinct possibility) or he is mis-using his position to underline his Rangers-hating credentials. I've said before & I'll say it again - I do not understand how any so-called Rangers supporter, player, board member etc would want to have anything to do with this vile, Rangers-hating rhag. I despair whenever I hear of our people giving interviews with its pseudo-journos. Our board should seek an apology from this rhag & tell them they're barred from Ibrox until they do so but they probably won't. Hopefully it's circulation will continue to fall & it won't be around for too much longer.

Which is why those responsible within HMRC for wasting taxpayers money pursuing this phantom EBT tax bill must be named & shamed. -
Since when did Dave King become 'Gers Boss' ???? Last I checked Mark Warburton was 'Gers Boss' and Dave King was Chairman. Keef's not very good at this journalist thing is he?
-
ER............what is P/E? How does Ashley get £9m ????
-
Why not ? If it transpired SD/MASH were signing contracts with individuals who'd fraudulently acquired a business.
-
Perhaps no immediate impact but if Green & Co are convicted couldn't that open a whole can of worms regards contracts that they negotiated ?
-
That's what I'm starting to think
-
And other contracts too. Is this what Ashley & others fear ? Could these contracts get annulled?
-
And does anyone believe you can be jailed for breaching a gagging order of this sort?
-
This is what I don't understand. He won't be making much money from Rangers. All Ashley is getting from us now is bad publicity
-
Combined, Templeton & Bell must be getting around £15k p.w. from Rangers. You have to ask if that's good value. I wouldn't say so. Ideally both will be moved on ASAP

Mark Warburton: ‘This is a Champions League club’
RANGERRAB replied to Bearman's topic in Rangers Chat
He's talking about where we should be not where we currently are -
Former Rangers gaffer Alex McLeish tells Ronny Deila:
RANGERRAB replied to Bearman's topic in General Football Chat
Deila will be gone before next season when we're back in the top division. He was a cut price appointment by the yahoos based on us appointing someone like McCall or McInnes after ditching McCoist when we were back in the top division. But Warburton has changed all that. He has contacts and sources all over the place whereas Deila doesn't. Why did they appoint a Norwegian when most of his signings seem to come from within Scottish football ? Doesn't he have any contacts in Scandanavian football to recruit their up and coming talent? Doesn't look like it does it. Warburton is probably only about 50 percent W.I.P with team rebuilding at Rangers and looks a good appointment already. By the time next season starts and Warburton has added more new faces to the positions which still need strengthened Rangers will be more than ready. LIewell knows that so Deila's days are numbered IMO. -
If we continue to get home crowds of 40k-45k I don't think there needs to be a shares issue for just now. And if these crowds continue will we get one million paying customers into Ibrox this season for all home games? Do the maths. What sort of match day revenue is that for the season? £25m maybe?
-
We need to improve up front if we're going to get all three points on Sunday. Miller's horror show in the first half last Sunday must not be repeated
-
According to these figures, we had 43% of the TV audience but got just 1.6% of the prize pot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone tried to run any normal business like this they'd be bust in no time. Treating your biggest customer( revenue) with utter contempt. But yet again this is Scottish Football run by Liewell & his hand-picked chums. We deserved a far greater share of the money. That's my complaint/point
-
WHAT DO WE WANT OUT OF THIS ? Three years ago certain clubs were trying to put us out of business altogether. These figures suggest to me (& others too maybe)that Scottish Football would struggle badly to survive without us. And these clubs who were trying to put us out of business may care to consider the fact that Rangers are subsidising the rest of Scottish football. Something that irks me.
