  1. Good point.
  2. Next summer when we get hopefully promoted back to the top division how will we compete with the yahoos who may well have greater finances than we will have? One way to do that is by securing loan signings EPL clubs and MW is well-connected with many EPL clubs. Or we could just settle for second or third best ?
  3. Who's she and which bodies?
  4. W They can win games in their own age group as often as they like. It's whether they're capable of making it into the first team which is what matters. Having youngsters on the books for seven or eight years then discovering they're not first team standard seems a waste to me
  5. All very well but unless this academy(or whatever it's called) can produce players capable of getting into the first team on a regular basis then the whole thing just becomes a financial drain on the club. I wouldn't get too hung up on youth football as it's often difficult to assess how good a youngster actually is until he moves out of his age group. And also how do we ensure our greater-funded youth system is better than say the likes of hertz or dundee utd whose will probably have less funding than ours?
  6. If hibz hadn't realised that Allan would rule out going to Rotherham they must be really stupid indeed.
  7. Hibz have a choice:- 1) keep an unhappy player and lose him at the end of the season for nothing or a pittance in january 2) sell him now and use whatever money they get to strengthen their squad Incredibly Stubbs seems determined to keep Allan as per 1) which suits us fine IMO. I think he'll find the player's heart is no longer in it and his form will suffer.Allan was easily their best player last season and if he's less effective this season then that can only help us in the league. Somehow though I think he'll be a Rangers player by the end of month even if it goes right down to the last few seconds of the transfer window like what happened with Steven Naismith.
  8. And the mhedia don't know what to make of such an articulate man being the Rangers manager who clearly knows what he's doing and where he wants to take Rangers.
  9. What they say they get for their players and what they actually get are completely different. They often seem to include sell-on fees & signing-on fees in their inflated figures just to keep the guillible green'n' grey hordes happy
  10. Will McLaughlin report the arrests at every game he attends this season or just Rangers ones? I think this is where the problem lies
  11. As long as the young lad wasn't wearing a pair of 1970's corduroys he should be OK.
  12. Can you explain how the BBC 'rely on readers and audience numbers' when they get their guaranteed revenue via the outdated licence fee? Removing pondlife mhedia from Ibrox who have a clear agenda against Rangers was long overdue.
  13. W Will he continue to write about Rangers though? You bet he will. His Rangers-hating audience will expect no less. And you can be sure that future articles written by McLaughlin, English & Spiers will be even more venomous towards Rangers. Friday's actions against McLaughlin & Spiers are only the start of what I believe will be an ongoing conflict between Rangers and its detractors in the mhedia. The club must be prepared to take further action when necessary to show it will not tolerate blatant bias when its haters misuse their mhedia positions to portray the club & it's supporters in a bad light in whatever way possible
  14. Peter Reid fae Peterheid is deid. Volvo forsale?
  15. In what way is Jim Traynor still involved with Rangers? That article suggests he was behind the bans for both Spiers & McLauchlin.
  16. I genuinely hope MW knows what he's doing if allegedly offering a 35 year MF player a two year deal. And I admit I know very little about John Eustace. He could turn out to be an excellent signing for all I know But if we have learned one thing above all else over these past three years it is that it is utter madness to pay lucrative salaries to players in their 30's who are well past their best & have no resale value whatsoever. And being past their best they soon get found out against younger opponents in the lower leagues who may want to put themselves in the shop window playing against Rangers. However time will tell as they say
  17. Does anyone think the BBC will now stop discussing Rangers on their so-called sports broadcasts?
  18. So what do you do when these cretins continue to spout their anti-Rangers rhetoric time and time again ? Just ignore it ? The dignified silence doesn't work. We have seen that it only encourages them to produce even more anti-Rangers lies & nonsense. And the guillible masses in this country will start to believe it. If anything I'd have gone further and banned the organisations these cretins work for too but today is a start if nothing else.
  19. Any chance of Radio Snyde too? Or Cosgrove maybe? We're on a roll here....let's keep going
  20. Spiers purports to be anti-sectarian and all the rest but is a Rangers-hating bigot himself. There are many others like him in the mhedia and I hope the club deals with them all in a similar manner
  21. Welcome though this is I still await action from Rangers regards McLaughlin last weekend.
  22. A martyr for whom? The rest of of the mhedia pondlife?
  23. Spiers should have been banned sine die from Rangers long ago along with several other pseudo- journos belonging to the Rangers-hating pondlife in the mhedia. If this true then it's long overdue.
  24. Good stuff from the RST but should this not be coming from the club itself? Where is our new MD ?
  25. did you think that up yourself?
